"We really loved Sea Sponge for our trip! We were two families with two kids each (4 kids under 4)! The location of the house was great - pool and beach access were incredible and so close to the house. The views were breathtaking with some of the most beautiful South Carolina sunsets. The house decor was comfortable and things felt updated. The screened-in porch off the main living area so we could enjoy outside and the kids could play was such a lovely experience. With all of that said, there were some things that really need improvement. There are large horizontal windows in all of the bedrooms that do not have shutters/shades/curtains and, of course, the light shines so brightly you can not sleep. It's also very disruptive when you have children sleeping. The two other things that would improve the house - the upstairs AC unit is a little funky and the main primary and the middle room are *ice* cold while the second primary is boiling. Since most families will want to rent a golf cart and there is only space for two cars in the driveway, it would be nice for them to give you the garage clicker so that you can more easily pull the golf cart into the garage. Lastly, the kitchen tools are very used - it'd be great to get a few newer/nicer non-stick skillets and some wine glasses. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we would absolutely rent Sea Sponge again. Kudos to an amazing experience!"

"It was nice being able to wake up to view of the ocean but outside of that, the condo was less than desirable.We were provided only 2 rolls of toilet paper for five of us for a 3 night stay which was very inconvenient. There is no water system in the fridge so if you want water, you either have to drink tap water or you have to bring it or go to the Harris Teeter (which is about 10-15 minutes away). It would of been nice to be provided a couple of bottles of water upon arrival as we did not have time to get to the store until the next day. Additionally, there were only 6 shower towels so we had to use our sparingly - we would of loved having additional towels. Lastly and most ridiculously is that there were no pool/beach towels provided. The "credit" is apparently only if you stay for 4 nights. It is a bit absurd to be a beachfront property and not provide pool/beach towels. Several of us had to use our shower towel.The walk to the open access on the beach is about a 6-8 minute walk and there are no restrooms so if you are out on the beach and you need to go to the restroom, you will have to walk 6-8 minutes back. And the beach is small.At no issue of the condo or owner, note this condo is at the end of the island and if you are trying to get off island when everyone is leaving the beach, it can take close to 30 minutes to just get to the bridge as the main road is a one way road. I would personally recommend staying closer to the bridge!"

"The location and view is amazing. The back door opens right up to the stunning ocean views. The communication between the manager was quick and timely. The beach access on site is currently closed due to beach erosion BUT you can walk through the property next door which was super accessible and easy to do. I would say that some of the furniture could be updated (couch sinks super low when sat on making it uncomfortable and the beds are super super firm). The condo itself is clean but could use some TLC (paint, cabinet hinges, etc). There was also a dehumidifier running that we had to empty multiple times a day in order to keep it running. All in all it was a great last minute booking for us. The host left a bottle of wine and some treats for the kids which was sweet. "

"We were disappointed with a couple items in the house that either didn’t work correctly or at all. I communicated the issues to the property managers and they suggested some ways for me to fix the problems, but in the end did nothing about it. There were some things that we couldn’t use, like the fireplace or elevator and a couple other things. It’s a big house so it worked for my family. I wouldn’t rent it again though. "

"Amazing beach view! Loved watching the sunrise each morning. This condo is exactly as listed. Extremely clean and very comfortable. It's located on a quiet part of Wild Duned which was fine with us. There is beach erosion, so we could walk out to beach from condo. Luckily there are other access points which made beach going easy to get to."

"The property is great. It’s clean and well stocked. I was, however, a bit frustrated by the ethics of the staff that came in after we left. I left something of some value in the unit accidentally. I know where I left it exactly and I reported it the next day. Somehow, it could not be found. While I accept responsibility for the initial mistake of leaving it behind, there is no way it was not right where I reported it. It did not walk off by itself. "
