Escape to a quiet getaway, designed for moments of bonding and relaxation. This prime located 1-bedroom apartment offers couples a wonderful getaway with its luxurious queen bed and an ensuite bathroom that promises relaxation. Imagine unwinding in a hot tub bath with jets, enveloped in bubbles, before stepping into an open-plan living space, in your plush bathrobe. The lounge, with its plush, full couches, invites you to snuggle up and enjoy your favorite shows on DSTV, Prime Video, Netflix, and Showmax, ensuring you stay connected to your entertainment desires.



The kitchen, a model of modern convenience, is fully equipped to cater to your culinary whims, from a quick breakfast to a romantic dinner. It includes a washer/dryer combo, adding to the ease of your stay. The property's design ensures that, despite its compact size, it never feels cramped but rather cozy and inviting, with every space optimized for enjoyment and relaxation.

Our apartment is set on the edge of a beautiful wildlife reserve, so you may occasionally spot some of the local visitors, including baboons who wander down from the mountain. They’re curious, not dangerous, and will happily move along if left undisturbed. We’re fortunate to have a fantastic baboon ranger team who walks with them guides them back up the mountain. For your comfort, we simply recommend keeping doors and windows closed when you’re not in the room or apartment, and avoiding interaction with them.



Please note due to the self catering nature of this property, amenities will not be replenished during your stay.



Important: Admin is boring so we are sorry about this but to remain compliant, we do require that guests complete a pre-checkin which includes uploading your Identity document / passport, verify with a selfie and sign our terms and conditions. This information is stored in compliance with POPIA and is done through Truvi. They will contact you separately. Thank you for your understanding.

-----WatersEdge: a secret beach! Great for swimming as it's surround by a reef and it's very sheltered from winds.

-----Windmill beach: great from snorkeling and diving



Please note the following:

the area is a quiet neighbourhood surrounded by nature and as such we have to request that you please respect the neighbours. No loud music and shouting after 11pm on weekends and 9pm in the week would be greatly appreciated.



We also remind you this property is not in a remote location: it’s in a secure complex with other apartments and therefore neighbours. The neighbours all keep to themselves enhancing the quiet nature of the area. Please see images to understand the space.



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the entire apartment exclusively.



The Neighborhood:

Simon's Town is a maritime marvel steeped in history and charm. With its naval base roots, the town beautifully marries its historical architecture with the natural beauty of its bays and beaches. Famous for its colony of African penguins at Boulders Beach, Simon's Town offers visitors a unique chance to observe these delightful creatures up close. The town's cobbled streets are lined with quaint boutiques, eateries, and museums that speak to its rich heritage, making it a must-visit spot for those touring the Cape Peninsula.



Getting Around:

It is strongly recommended that you hire a car.

Uber or local driver services are strongly recommended should you go out for a couple of drinks.



Other Things to Note:

Parking is strictly in the allocated bay. Please do NOT park in any other bay unless previously discussed.
