Loved our stay as part of our honeymoon! The staff is excellent and feels like the comfort of an old friends home. We stayed in the 12 A room and could see sunset and ocean from our room! Breakfast was delicious especially the homemade pastries. Loved the neighborhood and parking!

Friendly staff, good breakfast, and location

Incredibly friendly staff, spacious rooms and great location within camps bay. I was quite sick during my two night stay and the staff did everything to help and make sure I was looked after. The room itself is very clean and large. The location is a short 5 min drive to the main strip of camps bay. The breakfast was generous with fresh local ingredients. Would happily recommend this hotel for a nice stay in camps bay.

Great stay, the team was helpful and the breakfast was fresh and delicate. The gardener should cut down bushes. The Lions head room will soon not have a view of the Lions head.

We had an exceptional experience here. The hotel was impeccably clean, which made our stay comfortable. The staff were lovely and always ready to assist with a smile, making us feel right at home. Another highlight was the ample parking available, which is a huge plus in this area. The views from the hotel were great, offering stunning vistas of the ocean and surrounding landscape. Although we didn’t get a chance to use the pool, it looked well-maintained. Overall, we highly recommend the Sovn for anyone looking to stay in Camps Bay.

The penthouse has the most amazing views of both the Atlantic and the mountain. Tastefully decorated and furnished. The breakfast was delicate, varied and fulfilling. You don’t want to leave this place. I will be back.

La Guest-house la meilleure de Camps Bay

Cette Guest house est de loin la meilleure dans laquelle j’ai pu séjourner, et je voyage + de 200 jours /an. - L’emplacement est idéal sur Genova Avenue avec une vue à couper le souffle sur la plage de Camps Bay. Les couchers de soleils sont tout autant magnifiques depuis la chambre. - La chambre que nous avions réservé était particulièrement (très) grande, meublée dans le pure style nordique ce qui nous a convenu parfaitement. La salle de bain donnait sur la baie...prendre sa douche avec une vue pareille est paradisiaque. - Le petit déjeuner est quant à lui magique: fruits frais, produits locaux, pâtisserie différentes chaque matin et faites « maison », jus bio, bref le top...ce qui change des chaînes d’hotel ou c’est plus conventionnel. - Il faisait froid (25 degrés) donc nous n’avons pas testé la piscine qui au demeurant est propre, bien agencée et grande. - Ne pas hésiter à demander des conseils..ils se feront un plaisir de vous aider et bookeront pour vous les meilleurs endroits pour vos excursions. - Place de parking disponible à l’arrière de la maison pour la voiture, et sécurisé Enfin les propriétaires Tom et Jo, ainsi que l’ensemble de leur Staff, qui sont adorables. Jo prépare tout elle même pour le petit déjeuner et vous accompagnera tout au long de celui-ci. En résumé, cette Guest house est plus que recommendable et j’y retournerais bien entendu dès mon prochain voyage à Cape Town. Ne pas hésiter à appeler directement pour voir leur dispo.

Wonderful and highly recommended!

Highly recommend this lovely and chic hotel to anyone going to Cape Town! The aesthetic is clean and modern with vibrant colors but it still manages to feel warm and welcoming. The owners and staff were so lovely and made the most beautiful breakfast: fresh fruit and cheese platter, homemade banana nut muffin, yogurt, and a latte!

Fantastic boutique hotel in Camps Bay (Cape Town)

The hotel has only a few rooms and service is very personalized. Breakfast is fantastic! The location could not be better with amazing ocean views. We will definitely come back!

Jo greeted us like we were long Lindt friends & showed us to our stunning room. The views of the sea & the mountain were so good that just soaking them in was out favourite part of the day. The rooms had a beautiful Scandinavian style and expertly decorated. The beach was a short walk away. It was worth staying here for the breakfast alone. The variety and attention to detail was impressive. I am gluten free and was spoilt for choice. The highlight of breakfast is the freshly home baked pastries/muffins every morning. We visited the One&Only during our stay & my husband said he preferred Sovn, for the privacy, views, location & personal touch. Jo could easily co-ordinate everything a travel guide could, taking into account the weather & personal preferences. She lived onsite & was literally contactable 24/7, which made us feel very safe. We didn’t get to use the swimming pool but it looked very inviting & so did the outside terrace.

Nice boutique hotel. Away from the criwd but still walking distance to camp’s bay beach. Amazing view from our bedroom and great balcony! The staffs were very helpful and friendly and gave great recommendations on where to go and which restaurants to try. Love it!
