Il Perseo is actually several separate buildings connected by garden paths - the main building fronts the road and contains the restaurant, the other rooms are further uphill and are cheaper. Chiessi is a very small village with a rocky, pebbly beach…not much here but could be a base for hikers or cyclists. The staff are young college students and are friendly, energetic and carry your bags up the stairs or up the hill…

"Pleasant resort in quiet village. Includes shuttle to and from the ferry. Friendly and helpful staff. Bedroom, bathroom and corridor permanently dusty. Continuous smell of cigarette smoke through air conditioning. Overall we would stay again if on Capraia."
