Delightful remote getaway in the Tuscan hills.
We absolutely loved the peace and tranquility of this home. The views were beautiful and the house was spacious with a fantastic private terrace and pool. The location is very remote and there is no wifi but what better way to get away from it all!

Lovely secluded getaway
We had a fabulous stay in this villa located in the beautiful Tuscan hills. The property is spacious and well-equipped, although rustic. The outdoor space and pool are wonderful. It is well off the beaten track, so ideal for those who want a secluded break, but a drive to get anywhere, including the local shop (20 minutes or so). The birthplace of Michelangelo is well worth a visit and we enjoyed a delicious pizza in Anghiari. Roger and Rhiannon were accommodating and very helpful throughout our stay. We would certainly recommend.

Beautiful retreat!
We stayed for 6 days at this villa as part of our Italian honeymoon, and loved our time. The villa is gorgeous and well-maintained, the private pool is perfect, and there are local restaurants 10-15 minutes away (by car) which are delicious. The roads are windy and it’s very remote, so confidant drivers are a must. Roger and Rhiannon were also amazing hosts - really friendly and helpful. Would love to come back one day!

Pleasant stay
We had a great experience, everything is as on the pictures. The pool was clean and the house is well equiped. It is a old country house in Tocscana, so we encountered in the house a few bugs and spiders in the house that we as Canadians are not used to. We had to wash a few items before use in the kitchen. Roger and Rhiannon are very accomodating .

Wonderful place to relax
This really is a rural retreat. A lovely place if you want to get away from it all (no wifi and even the mobile signal is patchy). Gorgeous pool, well-equipped kitchen and comfortable bedrooms.

Perfect place for a relaxing break
We had a wonderful time at the villa and made excellent use of the pool during our stay! The villa is set in beautiful surroundings with amazing views. There are also fabulous local restaurants and Roger and Rhiannon were extremely helpful in recommending restaurants and booking for us. We also enjoyed trips to Arezzo, Sansepolcro and Siena. We would not hesitate to recommend this rural retreat.

Wonderful private Villa in the Tuscan Country Side
Lovely place to stay, quiet and secluded - if you want to get away from it all this is place to stay Evenings spotting the local wildlife and watching the sun set Local Restaurants are fabulous

Heavenly location.
The location of this property is heavenly. It is way off the beaten track and all the better for it. This does mean that a hire car is essential. For those wishing for a peaceful break in a beautiful house, surrounded by glorious scenery, birdsong and wildlife, this property is perfect. We really enjoyed the house and pool area. The local restaurants are good and exceptional value. We loved the food and view at Buca, and the local pizzeria is also excellent. Roger and Rhiannon will happily recommend and book, should you wish. This was very helpful and useful, many thanks. It was lovely to meet you both.

An amazing fortnight!

A wonderful stay! Great house with all accommodations needed. The pool area and view were amazing.
The hosts Roger and Rhiannon are very kind and live next to the house. They were very helpful upon arrival as we arrived late at night (their house is located high up in the mountains and you have to drive on a tricky road to get to the house). The area is very calm and beautiful. The view from the house and pool area is amazing. It feels like you are alone without any neighbours. We are going to recommend this house to our friends!

Amazing Stay
We had a wonderful stay here. Beautiful scenery and swimming pool. The hosts lived nearby and were friendly, welcoming and very helpful with local knowledge and booking local restaurants.

Tranquility Base
We were a family of four with two teenaged children and we had a fabulous week at this property. The kitchen was well equipped and the living quarters were the most comfortable that we have stayed in. The outside areas were superb and the pool was perfect for cooling off in. We wanted a week away from it all and found it at this wonderful property.

Perfect and peaceful place
We had the best time in this amazing house. The house is placed with a lovely view that we spend a lot of time looking at. Our four year old son had a great time with the pool and with a lot of walks. We can only recommend this house for everyone that want to have a peaceful vacation. Roger and Rhiannon was really friendly and helpful.

Peaceful house with amazing view
Rhiannon and Roger gave us a warm welcome when we arrived. They were always available for any questions we had and also offered to book local restaurants for us! The house was very remote so it was quite a drive to any big places except for the smaller nearby towns and shops. Because of that it was very peaceful and quiet with a gorgeous view.

Ein Ferienhaus mit ganz besonderen Charme in den Hügeln östlich von Florenz unweit von Arezzo. Hier kann man abschalten, den großen Pool hat man für sich zur Alleinnutzung und dazu das Gefühl der Alleinlage. Die Vermieter wohnen nicht weit weg und sind sehr hilfsbereit und offen. Das Grundstück liegt abseits der Straße mitten in der Natur. Einfach herrlich! Absolut empfehlenswert!

idyllisches Anwesen umgeben von herrlichen Kastanienwälder
Das Haus ist gross, die Küche gut ausgestattet, die obere Terasse mit Schwimmbad und Teich herrlich, der Garten, der in mediterranes Gelände übergeht, hat uns super gefallen. Rhiannon und Roger waren gute Gastgeber. In der Nähe des Hauses waren viele Katzen, die unser Hund sehr spannend fand. Wir waren überrascht, dass das Haus auf über 800m liegt, was im Hochsommer fantastisch ist und so die Hitze gut zu ertragen ist. Eine herrliche Woche.

Jolie bergère modernisée , avec une agréable piscine. Très isolée (1ère supérette à 20mn) et pas facile à trouver. En contre-partie, le calme est royal! Les propriétaire sont discrets et sympathiques. A noter le nombre impressionnant de chats nourris sur place et qui viennent rôder.

Ein wunderschön gelegenes, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus mit idealen Außenanlagen, darunter zwei wunderschöne Terassen mit gepflegter Bepflanzung, der Pool großartig, der Blick in die Natur atemberaubend. Wander- und Spazierwege beginnen direkt am Haus, ein kleiner Bach (und die zahmen Katzen) laden Kinder zum Spielen ein. Roger und Rhiannon waren zauberhafte Gastgeber, wir haben uns außerordentlich wohl gefühlt!

Magnificent holiday home in a splendid natural surrounding!
A wonderful home with a wonderful swimming pool, friendly people and very good services. The inside decoration is wonderful and the view is breath taking. We would very strongly recommend a stay at this house for people who like to relax en enjoy the wonderful Toscany landscape. The road to the house is exiting but well to do. Our children misted the WIFI although we also enjoyed not to be in contact with the digital world all the time. The house keepers are very friendly and help you were they can. We would love to come back here some day!

Relaxen am Pool mit Bergblick
Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche mit hervorragendem Wetter in der Toskana verbracht. Der Pool war super. Das Haus gut ausgestattet. Roger und Rhiannon standen uns hilfreich zur Seite. Die Lage ist perfekt, um zu entspannen (kein Handyempfang 😉). Wir kommen gern wieder.
