Hotel Three Sixty - Adults Only

"The good: This is an excellent hotel with spectacular views, friendly staff, and a zen atmosphere. The bad: There is 1.8 KM of unpaved steep rocky road before you get to the gate and another kilometer before getting to the property. This is bad enough that we decided to give up 2 prepaid nights and leave early despite having a 2WD SUV (To their credit, hotel credit us for our incidentals, which accounted for part of the nightly rate). I highly recommend this hotel as long as you have known brand AWD SUV. The hotel casually informs you of this as a requirement after you book, which was too late for us."

"Casa Tranquilo is nestled in paradise, surrounded by the rainforest and the calming sounds of nature. The house is impeccable in terms of cleanliness. The bedrooms are comfortable and equipped with their own air units and balconies overlooking the canopy. Two of the bedrooms are large king suites, and two are queen bedrooms with a common bathroom. The views from the bedroom balconies are tranquil and overlooking the lush green forest; great spot for private morning coffee. The house is located in a quiet gated community and yet is completely private. The road to the house is easy to access, however the last 150 feet would serve best with a 4x4 vehicle (which we found useful in all of Costa Rica). The community has nearby shopping and good restaurants. We enjoyed heliconia Restaurant and the nearby community of Ojachal (which has shopping and a great variety of food options).The pool side is well equipped with comfortable outdoor furniture, a BBQ.In high praise, we must mention the hosts of the property and Nacho, who replied within seconds of any inquiry we had and acted promptly. Nacho is extremely helpful and can assist in all aspects. Very nice people and very nice atmosphere.Would certainly recommend this property for a lovely relaxing vacaty. "

"Great stay. We had a few issues (its an older house) but the property manager was responsive. The outside area and pool are lovely..maybe the cushions need more filling. The road up to the house is good but you have to drive through Ojochal Arriba where the road is in a poor state. Hopefully the municipality will work on it soon."

"What a fabulous location. An immersive rainforest experience, with a beautiful view from our balcony. You could hear a variety of birds singing. It was music to the ears and you really felt connected with nature. If you ever decide to come to Uvita, this is the place to stay. The natural materials used in the accommodation complemented the surroundings. Very pleasing to the eye all around."

"Outstanding, and the perfect end to a travel and tour-filled vacation. Vayu is an idyllic retreat, nestled in the jungle, surrounded by trees and the sounds of nature. We were even visited by a pair of inquisitive toucans. The rooms are huge - clean and a bed with bedding more comfortable than home. Everything has been perfectly considered - design and integration of technology (most notably the lighting and sound systems). The pool is lovely for a dip to cool off, but beaches are close if you want the sea. 12 minutes drive is a cute set of cafe/restaurants, however the food on site is delicious. The set breakfast (changing daily) and dinner (and additional $60pp for set three-courses) were simple but excellently executed and tasty. The star of this place is Marc - he is Vayu. The amount of care and love he has put into their baby (sorry we didn't meet Rafael) projects into the care and attention he respectfully gives his guests throughout their stay. He is always on hand to assist, and nothing is ever too much trouble for him to help with. We would recommend staying here for a quiet and relaxing few days. A perfect end to a fantastic holiday. "
