"I enjoyed my stay at Bali Bali Bueno so much last December that I had to come and stay again in June. The house is beautiful and comfortable but the outdoor space is my favorite part. It's very private and peaceful and you can enjoy the sights and sounds of nature all day and night. The owners have done an amazing job with the decor and ambiance. This visit was a much needed peaceful break from my busy life in the States and I rarely left the house at all this time, except to grab groceries. There are a couple small mini grocery stores just a few minutes drive from the house, or you can drive 20 min to Uvita which has a large supermarket. There are also a few great restaurants within 5-10 min drive from the house as well."

"We loved our stay at Villa Lucia! It was in a great, safe location and close to waterfalls, shopping, and the whales tail. We loved sitting on the deck and watching the hummingbirds, toucans, and butterflies. The sunsets were amazing too! I recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get up the road easily."

"Outstanding, and the perfect end to a travel and tour-filled vacation. Vayu is an idyllic retreat, nestled in the jungle, surrounded by trees and the sounds of nature. We were even visited by a pair of inquisitive toucans. The rooms are huge - clean and a bed with bedding more comfortable than home. Everything has been perfectly considered - design and integration of technology (most notably the lighting and sound systems). The pool is lovely for a dip to cool off, but beaches are close if you want the sea. 12 minutes drive is a cute set of cafe/restaurants, however the food on site is delicious. The set breakfast (changing daily) and dinner (and additional $60pp for set three-courses) were simple but excellently executed and tasty. The star of this place is Marc - he is Vayu. The amount of care and love he has put into their baby (sorry we didn't meet Rafael) projects into the care and attention he respectfully gives his guests throughout their stay. He is always on hand to assist, and nothing is ever too much trouble for him to help with. We would recommend staying here for a quiet and relaxing few days. A perfect end to a fantastic holiday. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed the house! It had great space. The scenery around the home is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. You can see the ocean in the distance from the backyard. We enjoyed having our coffee on the balcony of the main master bedroom. There were great restaurants and excursions nearby. Our favorite excursion was the ATV ride. Costa Rica is a beautiful country to visit and this VRBO home definitely was a perfect spot! Keep in mind it is a 4 hour drive from airport so if we come back we will take a smaller plane into Uvita or get into San Juan earlier in the day to drive rather than at night. :)"
