"We had the MOST wonderful 10 day stay in Valerie's, comfortable and well-loved house. The photos absolutely do not do it justice. The house is situated in the most beautiful setting, the terrace is perfect and we watched the mind blowing sunsets there every evening. It was so so nice to have the pool to dip in and the deckchairs for lounging! We cooked most days in the kitchen which had everything we needed. The ricotta from the farm at the end of the lane was really delicious - we ate like Kings!We fell in love with Abruzzo while we were there - the house is really well situated for hiking in the Apennines, accessing the Trabocchi coast and visiting other beautiful lakes and hilltop villages.Valerie was a superb host - she gave us lots of detailed information about getting to the house and things to do in the local area. No question/query was too small!!"

"At "Il Poggio dei Pettirossi" we found peace, discreet luxury, respectful privacy, a warm and welcoming hospitality. Our apartment (Dolce cinguettio) was a large, clean and fully furnished self-catered accommodation, on ground floor, step free access from the private parking. The room has a functional gas hob, a microwave and a small fridge with cookware. Conveniently located within literally a few minutes driving distance from Pettorano and Sulmona. The location of the house is very quiet and peaceful, with cool evenings with a gentle pleasant breeze. Warmly recommended. The outdoor garden was delightful. A special thank you to our host, available when we needed him or for chatting. We will be back!

L’appartamento “Il dolce cinguettio” è ampio, moderno, pulito e con l'essenziale, situato al piano terra con accesso senza barriere. La camera ha fornelli a gas, forno a microonde ed un piccolo frigo e stoviglie. La posizione è molto comoda: in pochi minuti si raggiungono in auto sia il centro di Pettorano sia Sulmona. La struttura si trova in una zona tranquilla e silenziosa. Abbiamo soggiornato ad Agosto ed apprezzato le serate fresche sul patio esterno con tavolino e poltroncine.
