This hotel was a bit small. The room was tiny. You need to be careful taking a shower as it can flood the whole bathroom with it. The pillow was a bit soft and bed a bit hard. The breakfast was simple. The parking was easy. Conveniently located near city center and the castle was 5 min drive or 15 minutes walk.

Fantastic hotel and great service!!
This hotel is fantastic for the price. It is located by numerous grocery stores within walking distance. It's a 19 minute walk to the castle from the hotel. It offers a microwave for guests to use to cook hot food, we loved that and the coffee machine you can buy a cappucino for $1.50€ in the breakfast area. Only draw back is there is no airconditioning to Canadian standards just a fan that can't keep up with the heat in Carcassonne. The bed was comfortable and the room was great for us. I love that there was free parking as that is hard to find in Europe these days. Great stay will be back if in area in the future.

You get what you pay for - no in-room facilities such as a kettle or refridgerator - ok for short stay. Breakfast was basic but not expensive(we chose not to take this option as there were few "sans gluten" choices)

Pour le petit déjeuner, nous proposons un buffet continental complet pour moins de 7 euros avec divers produits sucrés et salés. Great hotel, but road noise
We had a good stay here- the hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable and clean. The only downside was the road noise, and the room got very hot overnight, even in late November!

OK for 1 night stay
Hotel a good 20 min walk from medieval city but staff friendly and room was clean. Breakfast was adequate but area for the meal wasn't sufficient for the number of guests, got a bit crowded. Nice, quiet hotel though so no problems.

It's not too far a walk to La Cite, and there's a great boulangerie just across the street. Free parking in a gated parking lot was a bonus. The only thing I didn't like was the layout of the room. Sink in the main room, with separate shower cubicle and separate toilet cubicle. Had a bit of a feeling of being on a cruise ship, as everything was so tight. If you are claustrophobic, this is not for you.

Good Value Hotel in Carcassonne
Very good value hotel for visiting Carcassonne. Walk-able to the medieval city although not the best part of town and not sure if safe after dark. Hotel very friendly and helpful. Room clean and adequate but very small so virtually no space for luggage.

Good and reasonable price for night stop over
Very convenient for night stop over and easy to find. Allowed our little dog which was a big plus for us. Breakfast reasonable price and adequate. Room good size for an economy hotel.

Ideal location for sightseeing
This hotel is one of several Ibis hotels in the city so be sure you get the one near the old synagogue because the others are farther out of the center, near the train station. This is located in the city center within walking distance of many of the sights and restaurants. Tram and bus service located nearby.The train station is within walking distance but not with heavy luggage. There is a restaurant in the hotel but I did not use it; there were many other options nearby, even a Mc Donalds a few steps away. The room was clean and the windows opened to allow fresh air. Comfortable bed and room, even though a little small. Quiet and safe.

Great value and location for motorway and Citadel
The location appears safe and near the motorway. LIDL 2 minute walk. Good patisserie across the road but a little pricey IMO. The distance to Citadel is just a 5 min drive or 15 min walk. For the Citadel definitely recommend you buy your tickets online. A Must Visit location. Download the app before going. The room was large, quiet, simple but clean with comfortable bed. A little window looked out to the Pyrenees. Storage was minimal. There is a separate shower room with a shower cabin, separate toilet and vanity sink in the bedroom. Both the wifi and airconditioning worked well. The TV had no English channels and there was no safe, fridge or hairdryer. The reception staff are very helpful and pleasant but appear busy doing odd jobs such as moping the floor and fold towels etc I did not take the breakfast which I understand costs Euro 6 and looked good. Parking was secure at the back and free but also available in the front of the hotel. Overall: The hotel was busy and in a great location to the Citadel and also the quick arrival and getaway from the motorway.

Clean and quiet
I’m currently at another hotel and I sure miss this one. It was quiet. It was clean. It was warm on a cold day. It had a funny layout but, as it turned out I rather like having the bathroom sink next to my bed. There was lots of room to move around. I did have an issue of the bathroom sink clogging up but, they fixed it right away and after that it drained perfectly. The shower was in a big closet that gave me lots of room while taking a shower. The toilet was the same. My only issue was that the hotel was too far from the train station and I had to take a taxi to get there and back every day. 7 euros one way 10 euros coming back, (I don’t know why the strange cost).

Well worth the little bit extra
Although it's quite a way towards the edge of the City, if you have a car it's certainly worthwhile booking as the room is OK; the shower separate from the WC, which is better than the very cheap hotels; it has secure parking and the breakfast is good and well worth the money. Also if you book at the right time - well in advance - it costs no more than the ultra no-frills hotels such as Premier Classe and is certainly a cut above.

Very good overnight stay. On reflection we should have gone direct to the hotel before sightseeing around the city. The receptionist in the Hotel provided us with a comprehensive list of information on sightseeing and restaurants for our use. Good service and will probably be using again should Carcassonne be on our future itinerary.

room was clean and they cleaned it everyday. it was a bit far from the city centre but close to the castle. there was nothing around it. I mean, one bakery, one supermarket, one take away shop. That's all. If you drive, it wouldn't be a problem. They have a big parking.

Okay for 1 night stay, 15 minutes walk to the old cite. We hsd problem that our door would not accept the code, so everytime we wanted to go into room, had to ask reception to open for us with a key, the receptionist didnt mind at all though, but it was a pain.
