The Cliff was a pleasant place to stay for a couple nights. The scenery is pretty exceptional. It is well located for neighbouring Cardigan and Newport. The rooms were modern enough, although judging by the pictures, we hadn't received one of the recently refurbished ones. Despite the in-room literature describing the climate control unit, we couldn't find one in our room - the room did become a bit too warm, but thats only a slight criticism, as it was still preferable to it being too cold.
Breakfast was pretty underwhelming, usual selection for a buffet I suppose, but given its proximity (by car) to Cardigan, you can reach some better alternatives with ease. Dinner at the Carreg was markedly better than the breakfast service, although still distinctly average for the vegetarian in our group. Non-vegetarian options were good and the wine selection was similarly plentiful.
All things considered, it was a pleasant stay and I would stay here again in the future.
