"Overall, I had a good stay at this resort. The à la carte restaurants were excellent, with delicious food and great service. I also really enjoyed the pools and the water park—they were clean, fun, and perfect for families. The only disappointing part was the buffet. For a 5-star resort, I expected much more variety. The menu was very limited, and the same dishes were served almost every day during my 7-night stay. The fruit selection was especially disappointing, with only about four small trays available. In comparison, other 5-star resorts usually have a much larger fruit section with a wide variety of fresh options. If the resort improved the buffet by offering more variety and changing the menu more frequently, it would significantly enhance the overall guest experience."

"The resort was gorgeous and very well maintained. Even the outside restrooms near the pools were extremely clean. The staff was amazing, always with a smile and kind words. The attention to detail around the resort, inside and out, was perfect. The food is very overpriced and underwhelming. That was my only complaint. I’d come back again."

"This resort was amazing! We had a suite with it's own private pool area which we very much utilized. The property also many public pools to choose from, with a few of them having swim up bars. Beautiful white sand beach that you can just walk out to, with beach chairs, and Cabanas. Only drawback about the beach though is that the water water had lots of sargassum seaweed, which they were doing their best to clean up. The rooms were kept clean, and the restaurants had lots of variety, however we felt that there could have been more Domican food represented. The staff was very nice, and helpful whenever possible. There is nothing that would not make us not want to book the resort again. We were very happy with our 10 day stay!!"

"Went with a 10 year old and my mom, and we had a blast! Super close to El Yunque, excellent amenities, wonderful rooms and excellent food. The Roots restaurant had some bad service a few times (one time it took an hour to get our food), but otherwise no huge hiccups. 10/10 recommend Amaya restaurant (pricey, but sooo good) as well as the kiddos friendly pool with the slides. Overall, resort was a bit pricey (the fact that resort fees aren’t included in the price is tough, about $300 before you even eat anything) and their was no food included standard (I paid for breakfast buffet to make less of a hassle). Even though it was pricey, I still had a good time. Just wish they were more upfront about those resort fees!"
