"Booking in the staff member spoke no English which was a problem. Eventually we gained access to our rooms which were clean The shower was cold and the soap was so cheap it would not lather The towels had holes in them Otherwise OK Expensive for the standard delivered We used only one of the 3 double beds The zircon worked well"

"The staff was amazing and very accommodating from check in to room service and use of amenities. My bungalow was very clean and beautiful. Very comfortable. "

"Upon arrival I was told that, I was told that even though I had a reservation confirmation, they were not aware of it. After close to an hour I was told that they had managed to find a room for us. An “upgrade”. I had booked a king suite and was placed in a room with 2 double beds. The upgrade was a balcony that looked out over a warehouse parking lot. The supper buffet was good, the breakfast buffet was average. The highlight was the omelette station. "

"Great hotel in the middle of town. Close to all restaurants and boat docks. The staff is very friendly and kind. The hotel can be a little noisy at night with all the people walking around the streets. "

The boat tours are located right next door, which made our morning departures seamless. ​Atmosphere & Noise: While the hotel is close to the nearby clubs, we found the noise levels to be perfectly manageable. I had packed earplugs just in case after reading previous reviews, but we actually never needed to use them. ​Overall, a great home base for anyone looking to be in the heart of the action in Bocas del Toro!"

"The room was absolutely lovely and restful. The hotel is very very nice and had a warm and relaxing feel to it. Old world elegance is the term I would use. We had breakfast and dinner at the Tach restaurant. The breakfast was very good with a varieties of choices and very farm to table. The dinner was excellent. Staff always friendly and attentive. The bar is especially charming and made a mean whisky sour. Loved the fireplaces for a cosy nightcap. All in all, a very pleasant stay. The only recommendation? Perhaps be the first luxury hotel to offer excellent decaf coffee. "
