A short break in our routine
The location was very good and the facilities OK. The weather was as well, tho we'd hoped for luck in that. We were a little disappointed in the cooking equipment, variety of pans and implements. It seemed there was an assumption that there would always be 4 people never just 2, as in our case. Finally, the dining table and tv/relaxing area are poorly lit, particularly for reading!

Fabulous property beautiful inside and outside just 1st class
Just stunning so spacious clean the little welcome tray and we even had wine flowers and card left for our anniversary. Thank you so much for stunning accommodation. We loved it

We a a good stay, nice property just a few bug bears.
In a good location to get to nearby towns villages etc but need transport, as unable to walk from property as the road is a dead end and the other leads onto a bypass, Quite noisy from neighbouring properties, unfortunately kitchen items were not clean, wine glasses dirty, frying pan had egg left on, grill pan dirty with grease, not good especially with covid, beds extremely uncomfortable.

Parlour barn
We thought this property stood alone but it’s actually adjacent to other rentals which we were somewhat disappointed with. Inside the property was tired and would benefit from freshening up the paintwork and replacing faded bedding etc. However it was adequate for a week, kitchen had plenty of utensils and crockery even if some was chipped but pans were rather dire and need replacing. Debbie was always happy to help in any way she could and I can’t fault her and her husband. There was plenty to do in the area and it is an adequate base to explore.

Good Property but could be great
Location is excellent to explore Carmarthenshire and East Pembrokeshire. Property is in good condition though to echo other reviews the twin beds are quite hard and the master is too soft. Would also benefit having shelves in the bathrooms so women can do makeup as lighting in the bedroom is too dark, under sink units are appropriate for this use or property. That said has lots going for it including great Wi-Fi, lots of space inside, good kitchen supplies, amazing water pressure and a beautiful welcome kit - thank you 😊

Parlour Review
The property was overall very clean and suited our needs for a 3 night break. checking in process was straight forward and Covid safe. If I had to be picky I would say the twin beds are fairly hard. A bigger TV would be beneficial in that room for the dark and wet evenings. Overall a good location, clean and tidy and well maintained.

Lovely stay!
We stayed for a weekend. A lovely property with everything you need with the bonus of both bedrooms having an en-suite. Jake (dog) especially approved of a safe space to stretch his legs off lead in the dog exercise area. Thank you!

Pasg Easter weekend Family break 2021
Found the place very easy with directions from Debbie. We stayed in The Parlour, very spacious for the 4 of us and Nelly the Bulldog. Great kitchen, and I was spoilt to have a dishwasher. And also handy to have a washing machine. And fridge freezer good size. Great size bedrooms both en suites, but the single beds are very hard and headboards are very shaky. All the properties look very are well build. But if I was fussy it would be better to have a bigger TV on the wall. And the wood railings could do with a wash and stained. But a great relaxing weekend.

Barn conversion excellence and peaceful property.
The accommodation exceeded our expectations and the location was great for traveling around the area. Everything was better than expected and the mini hamper/welcome pack was great.

The barn was clean comfortable and just right for a weekend stay. Peaceful location. The kitchen was good. If I was going to be super picky I would want a bigger tv and the WiFi wasn’t the best. The dog expertise area could be bigger.

A lovely property in a good location. Good quality facilities, and the owners kindly 'went the extra mile' and allowed us to host a large family gathering, providing extra chairs & tables. We had a wonderful time- thank you! Highly recommended.

Lovely, relaxing place to stay
This converted barn is in a lovely quiet location, but still accessible to lots of places in Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. It was very clean and comfortable, with everything you needed. It's very dog friendly, which was what we wanted for our 2 dogs. We would certainly go there again. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

Spacious and comfortable in a convenient location
We enjoyed our week in The Parlour. There was plenty of room, and it was well-equipped. The beds were quite firm, but we soon got used to that. We were also a little cold for the first day or so until we fully understood the central heating. After that it was fine and cosy. It was handy being only a short distance from the A40 main road, although turning right out of the lane could sometimes be a challenge. We were also blessed with good weather for almost all of the week, although this can never be guaranteed!

A great converted barn with plenty of space
We had a fantastic Easter break staying in the Parlour which is a very comfortable, spacious converted barn. We had everything we needed and some lovely days out. Carmarthen is just 10 mins away and had all the necessary shopping we needed. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Excellent holday barn!
This is an excellent barn, sleeping four people in 2 bedrooms, each with ensuite bathroom. The open-plan living space with kitchen, dining table and lounge, was very spacious and user-friendly, and the property was very well equipped with everything we could want. Very easy access to the main road, but the property itself was nicely secluded and felt 'away from it all'. Friendly & helpful owners, nice local walks, easy access to local towns and not far to the wonderful coastline.

Fantastic
Good communication with owners who are lovely people, beautiful surroundings.this place was great for the dogs and they even had a training area to take them. The location was ideal as just outside Carmarthen by 5 mins. There is a well stocked garage and cafe.My wife and mum and dad have relaxed well as i have. We had family visit at the last minute of which Debbie(owner) helped us with additional sleeping for them . We will be recommending this property to family and friends with pets.Thank you and have a great Easter

Beautiful Property, Wonderful Stay.
Excelllently maintained property with everything you could want. Felt so comfortable and property was spotlessly clean. Even a small excercise area for the dog. Ideally situated for local amenities in Carmarthen, while being lovely and quiet. Ideal base for touring a beautuful area of Wales. Highly recommended.

Great Place and much space in the Parlour
Quiet location despite a big road nearby. Clean and good eqipped barn, nice and helpful hosts. Much space for a family of 4. Many places worth to visit in a driving range of 30-45 minutes!
