Spacious home in Carmel: one mile to downtown.

5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, open concept floor plan with large kitchen, expansive living room, and dining for 10.

The main floor boasts a large custom kitchen equipped with top-of-the line appliances, granite countertops, and plenty of space to create a memorable meal together. The dining table comfortably sits 10. The living room is a wonderful area to relax, watch TV, or visit with family, friends, or coworkers. Three sets of French doors lead out from the living area to a cozy private patio with outside seating, a gas barbecue, beautiful plantings, and mature oak trees.

The main floor also contains four bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. There are two sets of Jack and Jill bedrooms, each with a queen bed and its own set of French doors leading outside. A compact washer/dryer closet completes the first floor.

The second floor is comprised of the primary bedroom suite and a separate sitting room at the top of the stairway. The primary bedroom has a California king bed, 2 comfortable chairs, a gas fireplace, a TV, a walk-in closet, and a large bathroom with 2 sinks, a Jacuzzi tub, and a large tiled shower. The sitting room has a cozy couch and is the perfect place to read a book or watch TV.

The home has an attached 2-car garage and a gated paved driveway for 2-3 cars.

The perfect house for families and friends to gather and relax. Also works well for a small corporate retreat/meeting place.

Our house is located in a quiet neighborhood in Carmel. We ask our guests to respect our neighbors and observe the local noise ordinance.

Please note: NO SMOKING is allowed in the house or anywhere on the property.

This home is amazing and we had a wonderful stay during our daughter’s wedding weekend in Carmel. It is so spacious, well laid out, comfortable and beautiful. All the little extras are included in the home too. Would love to stay here again someday!

Just Perfect

This property was perfect for our group of friends who have been attending the golf tournament at Pebble Beach for years. Spacious, perfect location, and well equipped for cooking dinner. We loved it and hope to return again next year!

The hosts do an excellent job of outfitting and maintaining this special property. You couldn't ask for a better location than this quiet neighborhood within walking distance to downtown Carmel and a short drive to world class golf, stunning Central California beauty and a world renown aquarium.

The house was perfect for our family! It was comfortable, well-equipped, clean, stylish and hosts were communicative and accessible. The location could not have been better for a family who enjoys nature, golf, running, and a quick last minute trip to the toy store to help Santa out!

Beautiful Upscale Home

This home is spectacular! It is spacious and modern, and it was perfect for our group of nine people. The home is very well-furnished and very comfortable. The kitchen is great, with high end appliances, a wide variety of kitchen tools, and plenty of working space. The location of the home is quiet and serene, but also convenient to all of the attractions that Carmel has to offer. We walked to the historic mission and also to the downtown center, which is loaded with restaurants and shops. You absolutely cannot go wrong in choosing this home for your gathering.

Beautiful Home

This home is absolutely beautiful. There were plenty of bedrooms for all of us to stay with spacious dining and living room areas for us to gather. Perfect Family Getaway

My family flew in from across the country so we could all be together for a family weekend. We had the most amazing time! The house was incredibly spacious and comfortable. A beautiful property in quiet Carmel neighborhood

This 5 bedroom delightful home has a great, large great room with very high ceilings, kitchen and dining table. The perfect place for family and friends to gather for talk and fun together. The upstairs master bedroom is large and very comfortable. We loved it.

Wedding weekend in Carmel

Great house great patio great location. We walked into Carmel every morning! The owners were great to communicate with and he addressed our needs immediately when asked him any and all questions regarding the house. We asked for fans as we were there when the Carmel had a heat wave and he had them over to us within a few hours ! More than accomodating ! Would stay there again !

Amazing house and stay!

I booked this home as a place where my family could stay during my wedding weekend and it was perfect for them. The home provided a spacious and relaxing place for them to come "home" to throughout the long weekend. As expected, there are things that inevitably go "wrong" during the lead up to and at a wedding, but booking this property certainly was not one of them! The house was very clean and comfortable. Jim and Carol were great and provided prompt and clear communication which made the experience that much better. I can't recommend them and their home enough if you are considering a nice, quiet visit to Carmel! My family and I hope to be back!

Better than Perfect

So much space for our family to spread out and not be on top of each other! Immaculate, top of the line chef kitchen, with a dining space made for great gatherings. The bedrooms were cozy and comfortable, outdoors was relaxing and beautiful. We walked to town many times, and always looked forward to going "home". It's a place everyone in our party wants to return to. Jim and Carol have thought of everything, and we were grateful for each detail included in their home.

Perfect home for family reunion

The pictures don't do this place justice. It is even more spacious and comfortable in person. It was great for our family of nine, but would be a wonderful place for a larger size group. We loved the well maintained yard and garden, where we could hang out, and enjoy the beautiful weather. The house is super clean and has everything you might need. Jim and Carol are wonderful hosts, and made sure we had everything we needed. They responded to our messages almost instantly. The location is convenient (15 to 20 mins walk) to a charming town with great restaurants. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone who is looking for a larger house in a great location. Golf Trip

Once again, we had an amazing stay at Jim and Carol's home in Carmel. We have stayed here several times, using the house as our base for a family/friends golf trip. The home is perfect for our needs...5 bedrooms, large great room/kitchen to gather in, and a great location to quickly get to Ocean Ave., golf courses, and everything else you would want to do when visiting Carmel. The house has always been spotless, well appointed, and everything works flawlessly. The owners are a pleasure to work with, extremely friendly and welcoming, and responsive and helpful to any communications or questions we have ever had. We hope to rent this house annually for our golf trip and highly recommend it to others who are looking to have a special/memorable trip to Carmel.

Excellent, excellent, excellent!

This property was ideal for our group of eight on many levels. Before the trip, all communication with the hosts were answered promptly and accurately. We arrived to a beautifully maintained property in a quiet neighborhood. The location is close to town and convenient to local attractions. The home is spacious and beautiful. It is super clean, organized and has a well stocked kitchen. I want to emphasize how well the house is designed for spending time with each other. Our group came together from several locations and value the occasions when we are together. The open kitchen, living room design was perfect. There was plenty of comfortable seating as well as a long table for eating and laughing together. It is a place memories are made. Thank you Jim and Carol.

The Perfect Home Away from Home

My husband and I can't say enough good things about this property! We spent quite a bit of time trying to find the right place for our group of 8 adults and a baby to stay for our vacation to Carmel. We settled on this beautiful home and it just couldn't have been better!! Upon check-in, we found it to be exceptionally clean and just as the pictures indicated. The home is so well appointed to accommodate a group. The beds and bedding were comfortable, and there were plenty of towels provided in the bathrooms and kitchen. The kitchen is well-stocked with all of the utensils, cookware, dishes and glassware you need. We ate several meals in and enjoyed the patio and grill. The location is perfect for exploring Carmel Valley, Carmel-by the Sea, and the Monterey Bay Area. As for the hosts, Jim and Carol... from booking the property to during and after our stay.. they were quick to respond to all of our questions and to provide very helpful information. We appreciated their recommendations for local restaurants and a place to rent baby gear for the little one in our family! This is an ideal home away from home and we would stay again in a heartbeat!!

Wowzer! Don't miss out on this property

My friends and extended family have an annual reunion in Carmel, a tradition for 20 years. We have had opportunity to stay in multiple houses over the years. This home, however, was the best by far. It suited all of our particular needs beautifully. The house is exactly as described. The landscaping is beautiful with multiple outdoor seating areas. The house is also very private, with an automatic gate for the driveway and plenty area to park your cars. It has very easy access to highway 1, but absolutely no highway noise. The neighborhood is very secluded. It is a one mile hilly walk to downtown Carmel. The owners provide for multiple amenities not often seen in other Carmel homes, such as beach chairs, and a full array of coffee, tea, toiletries and extra pillows, blankets, etc. The house is also pristine. The kitchen has a set up like a chefs kitchen. The TV has full streaming access. The beds are very comfortable. The accolades just keep going. Lastly, Jim and Carol are very available to you. We didn't need them at all as everything was just right. Don't miss out!
