Steps to Beach- Ocean views - Dog Friendly

Our La Casita house is situated on a large, rare double lot. There are views of the beach and ocean from inside the house.

We are about 250 feet to the beach with a direct access path in front of the house.

Sleeps 8 with 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. There are many windows with strong light coming in all over the house.

The entire living space is on one floor with no steps. And, it is safe for kids.

La Casita is a 6 block walk to the restaurants and shops of downtown Carmel.

The property (inside and outside) has been updated throughout but still has that authentic Carmel charm. It has a very large yard and ample parking. Two cars can park in the driveway and there is plenty of free, unrestricted street parking all the time.

There is a beach access path directly across the street.

If you have someone in your party that has trouble going up steps, there is a back entrance to the property that has no steps...just a flat walk into the house. There is one curb on the street which you can avoid if you pull your car up to the curb.

It's a quick drive north to Pebble Beach for golf, tennis, spa and events like the AT&T Golf tournament and Concours d'Elegance. To the south are the cliffs of Big Sur, Point Lobos, and redwood forests to hike and explore. East is sunny Carmel Valley with its wineries, shops, golf and state parks.

There is an outdoor Ring security camera above the garage facing the driveway. There are some smart home devices like leak & glass detectors, remote door keypad, connected washer/dryer, and Nest thermostat and smoke detector products, and a smart landscape sprinkler controller.

Perfect Family Getaway

Literally steps from beach! Such a perfect location for a family with young kids who want to enjoy the beach. Easy walk to downtown restaurants and shops. The views and yard were amazing. Dave was a very gracious and responsive host.

Beautiful stay

The home was very comfortable. Large outdoor space to enjoy. Touch of ocean view from the front of the house. The path to the ocean is right in front of the house. Listening to the waves at night and watching the sunsets from the balcony. The home was very clean and has everything you need to have a wonderful time. We would love to come back

Beautiful sunsets in a most charming home

Loved every minute in this comfortable yet chic Carmel Cottage with peekaboo ocean views, a block to the beach and walk to downtown. The owner is readily available and eager to be helpful.The queen double bed room was my favorite with a view of the garden and partial ocean view.

Complete beach home

My husband and I stayed 9 days at this beautiful beach home. It was warm, spacious, relaxing, sounds and views of the ocean, just what we ordered for our holiday. Dave was available to answer any questions. As a dog friendly home, we not only recommend this home but hope to visit again next year.

We have rented many homes in and around the Carmel area. This home is on the top of the list. The location is unbeatable, truly lives up to it's name. The home is comfy, clean and wonderfully laid out. Spacious outdoor space. The owner is easily reachable and attentive to your needs. We had the best time, and will be back!!

Amazing Property 100 feet from Gorgeous Beach and Ocean

Highly recommend this property. Best location possible in Carmel--close to ocean, quiet, and beautiful landscapingVery walkable (pleasant half mile) to numerous restaurants and shops in Carmel. One mile from entrance 17 mile drive. 10 minute drive to Point Lobos and Monterey. Very private three bedrooms/adjoining baths. Best bed coverings of any VRBO we have been at. Two private parking spaces. Well equipped kitchen. Lots of nooks inside and outside for people to gather, work and and play.Only negative is kitchen is small. That said it is well equipped for cooking. Owner (Dave) is extremely helpful. We hope to be back next year because experience was so good.

Great Carmel Beach Vacation Home!

We were honored to be the first VRBO guests to stay here. We were looking for a home close to Carmel Beach, pet friendly, and enough room for family and friends (six adults). La Casita did not disappoint, a 100 year old house that was recently remodeled - great bathrooms, bedrooms, and living room. The fireplace was a personal highlight - so cozy and gave out great heat at night. Online pics did not do the property justice and views from the living room and kitchen of the ocean and Pebble Beach were great, as well as listening to the ocean waves every day/night from every room. Dave was very gracious and interactive as a host to figure out what we needed and fix anything necessary. Although the kitchen was small, it was perfect for a vacation, had everything we needed, and we used the new grill extensively in the courtyard. Washer/dryer in the garage very useful. Our dog loved the fenced in lawn and landscaped pathways - unusual for houses in this area. Walking to the beach was a breeze, and walking downtown and back for meals/shopping was a great little workout for us middle agers. Good for our adult sons and nephews since excellent beach volleyball courts were a short walk away, and pickleball nearby. Convenient to drive down to Crossroads Safeway and additional restaurants and we hit Big Sur twice as well (go on a weekday to avoid crowds and hit the Big Sur Bakery!). We were lucky to find this place and appreciated the warm welcome from the hosts - we will be back!
