"This hotel had the nicest shower!"

"Wish we would have had another night at the hotel as we had originally planned. Had to cut it to one night due to a very aggressive travel plan. Might have bumped rating up to 5 if we could have experienced more of the amenities but we stayed only one night and were on a really tight time schedule. Staff was great. Gave us all kinds of good information on restaurants and pubs, which we took advantage of. Room was large, clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a great location on the river, right across from the best areas for shopping, dining and pubs. Parking was very convenient, with an attached garage. They had a very nice restaurant and bar area with some good live entertainment the night we were there. Unfortunately we couldn't take full advantage of it since we really wanted to explore the town and we had such a small amount of time. I would highly recommend The Glasshouse as well as spending a little time exploring Sligo and the surrounding area."

"Great location, everything walkable. The view on the river is spectacular. The presentation of everything is high quality. The staff are well trained and helpful, also inquisitive about you in an non-invasive way. The room was spotlessly clean, wifi was strong. I was there for work and was able to connect my computer to the television for a wide second screen. I marked it down one star because there was an additional charge to use the sauna and steam room. There was a €12 overnight parking fee too, but I parked below near the river in the public car park over night for free. But it all other respects this is a strong experience for either business or leisure travel."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of food and very good quality. The location is beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing, while still being conveniently close to Sligo. The apartments are spacious and ideal for large families, providing plenty of room and comfort for everyone. The only minor downside was the boiler, which was quite noisy when heating water. It was also difficult to maintain a consistent water temperature for bathing, and it seemed that the thermostat might not have been working properly. Overall, we had a great experience and would happily stay here again."
