"The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only negative thing was that other guests were loud, when they walked in the hallway you could hear all the noise and it was disturbing during the night."

"We loved the close proximity to the beach. Good central location to the area. We were unaware of the trains in back yard, it was not a huge problem as they did not run during night. The 2 bathrooms was unclear due to the 2nd bathroom was not located near the bedrooms, made it hard for 2 separate couples traveling together with the 2nd bathroom being located in basement/garage area. We made it work. The beach house was charming and all of the places to sit and be amongst friends locally and traveling with was great! Thank you for offering your home to us."

"We stayed for graduation weekend at Cate. The staff was great. However, the hotel was understaffed. Here are problems: 1. The refrigerator in our room failed before we got to the room. It leaked water on the floor. They tried to vacuum the carpet but it was still wet. Nothing like walking across a wet carpet in bare feet. They could not give us another room as they were totally booked. 2. They could not keep coffee on the first floor in the morning. Lots of disgruntled guests waiting for coffee. 3. They closed the restaurant for breakfast. Again, understaffed. 4. Hotel appears to trade profit for upset guests due to understaffing. On my wet floor all they had to do is turn in insurance claim and they could remove water from floor. They lose a deductible. 5. They know of influx in guests and appear not to hire staff to accommodate. More staff more money and lost profit."

"Spectacular stay!! This place is a sparkling gem- absolutely stellar - stunning ocean and private, gorgeous beach steps away from the house - with the most romantic train passing by! The apt itself is luxurious-feeling - super comfy bed, great beach-themed interior design (loved it!), clean, delicious shower with sitting bench, pet-friendly. Amazing good vibes and positive energy infused in this home! We didn't want to leave - one of my favorite, special getaways ever! Sunsets are magnificent too - next time we will catch the dolphins, passing by on the ocean nearby! Jeff and Kristi are wonderful people - generous and helpful. This stay was pure bliss for us - it would be an honor, joy and pleasure to come back soon! Thank you, we appreciate and love you, Jeff and Kristi!"

"We found this little condo sparkling clean, lovingly decorated, and well equipped. It’s a small space but very comfortable for my sister and I. It’s more like a studio-plus, so sister took the bed and I used the couch. The couch was amazingly comfortable-I slept really well every night! The property as a whole is very pretty and well maintained. The beach is very close, just down the stairs and across the street. Our host, Chris, was easy to reach and was kind and helpful. We would definitely stay here again! "
