Fully furnished and newly renovated! All new appliances, including a 48' HDTV and wireless hi-speed internet. In additional to a bedroom with a king-size bed, there is queen-size pull-out sofa in the living room. We also have a very comfortable roll full away bed. Laundry washer/dryer is in a separate room opposite the patio. Includes beach and picnic gear and the kitchen has everything you need to make great meals. The back patio has an outside table with chairs and a BBQ. All the comforts of home in a great location ensures that you will enjoy your stay! We have the Hyatt hotel and Fess Parker Resort down the street with full bar and restaurant and spa facilities including massage and facials.The bird refuge is minutes away. The wharf has a sea center, fine dining and great strolling and views of the ocean. Sunday local art beach exhibit stretches along the boardwalk. The funk zone is a 10 minute walk and features Figueroa Mountain Brewery and wine bars. You will find some incredible food, art and service in this district. Here at Mariposa, One bedroom Flat, you will find the perfect zone to catch an airbus to LAX or check out the zoo, or just enjoy one of the best beaches in the city. The beach is literally 3 minutes walking distance. You will be happy no matter what at the end of the day to come home to your beautiful and comfortable casa on Orilla del Mar!!! Tri-County Produce is on the corner, and has fresh organic and standard produce, fresh squeezed orange and carrot juice, dairy, meat, fresh fish, vegan products, beverages, spices, home goods, flowers, chips,sauces, pasta, bread, desserts and a frozen section.
Evening sunsets in our area are magical. Such a prime spot, You will never want to leave! All the happenings in town are within walking distance. We use all organic cleaning products and do our best to give you the best possible customer service!

Great little place near the beach. Should have onsite parking and better lighting inside and outside. Also our first rental home without an android compatible TV.Very cozy and well lit.

Lovely getaway spot

Clean, comfortable and well supplied. Loved the proximity to the coastal cycle path, we walked 25min to the wharf/downtown each morning, and enjoyed visiting the MOXI museum and the restaurants along State St.

Great location

Location could not be better and the owner was accommodating for an early check in and easy communication. Property could use some freshening with paint and outdoor seating/patio is in a parking lot. Worked out well for easy access to the beach and restaurants/shopping.

Great summer vacation in Santa Barbara

Ideal appartment for vacation in Santa Barbara. Short distance to the beach and only short but very nice walk under the palm trees to the board walk. Car parking in the neighborhood without problems. We enjoyed it very much and would certainly come back.

Great location

Perfect location if you have an event at Mar Monte Hotel. Walking distance (approx 1 block). The beach is probably 2 blocks away. Very convenient.

Great location

The location was perfect for a 15 minute walk to the promenade. However it should be noted that the A/C was just a selection of fans so it can get quite hot inside and the whole place could benefit from a deep clean and a lick of paint. We were comfortable enough though.

Mariposa Stay

Great place and location. Cute convenience store around the corner and walk to beach. I couldn't figure out how to work the heaters and the host drove over to help us get them turned on. Above and beyond.

Location can't be beat

This is a nice one bedroom apartment a block from the East Beach. The apartment is well stocked with linens and towels and can handle additional sleepers in the living room. The kitchen is also well stocked with cookware, utensils and spices. The location is great and we went on beach walks every morning. There are two excellent restaurants within a 3 minute walk (Reunion on the beach, Convivo at a nearby Inn). There is also a very nice grocery store within 2 minutes walking. We found nearby street parking everytime which you might not expect at a location so close to the beach.

Relaxed beach vacation

My sister and I wanted a place near East Beach so we could easily walk everywhere. The place isn't fancy but clean and very comfortable. The neighborhood feels safe and is very quiet. I really appreciated the good quality beach chairs, towels, and umbrella available for our use. Tri County Produce is just 2 blocks away and has all the basics. Next time I won't even rent a car (even though it was no problem finding street parking). We enjoyed walking on the bike path to get coffee and then setting up at the beach with our chairs. Our goal was rest and relaxation and this low key place was perfect. We'll be back!

The neighborhood was nice and quiet, very close to the beach and other places but we recommend to fix a few things like shower curtain rod (kept falling), carpet needs cleaning or replacement, towels seem very old too. Other than that kitchen is really nice and practical.

Great location and very quiet. We didn't have any problems with street parking. We recommend bringing some additional padding for the sofa bed and roll away mattresses. We appreciated having both so our kids didn't have to share. Will stay here again in the future!
