Independent hotels in Carriacou Island, Grenada

"We loved everything about this little resort tucked onto the "wild" side of the island. Our bungalow was beachside and very clean and comfortable with a great view. The food and drink was excellent and plentiful! And last, but not least, the staff! Nakitha, Dona, Kavina, Kerryann, Shaquira, Rena, Breanna, Abigail, Michelle, Erin(and all of housekeeping) chefs Richardo, Denson(and the whole kitchen staff) and of course Philip and our "gentle hike" leader Tanya. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Hope we remembered everyone and keep that library under control! We hope to return next year. Absolutely loved it!"

"Mountain and ocean view. Kitchen well equipped. Comfy beds. Relaxing sitting area. 10 minute drive to larger grocery store and fruit stands. Small shops for essentials near by. Local beaches were not crowded compared to the south. Even though there was no A/C the pedestal fans made it quite comfortable. Perfect place to enjoy the local culture. "

"Views were spectacular. Dave, Ayesha and Davidson were very welcoming and took good care of us. A small walk down the hill gets you to the village where you can find 2 grocery stores, many restaurants and buses that can get you to Hillsborough. We had the most amazing island hopping tour with Froggy, recommended by Dave, and Dave gave us a special drive around the Island, sharing his knowledge about the area. We were there for the carnival which we really enjoyed. Hope to come back another year."
