"Away from the hustle and bustle of busy tourist spots. Lacking amenities as it is an older building with very comfortable and clean accommodations. No hair dryer and minimal lighting and plug ins, but so worth the location and comfort. The market has the best prices lobster meals. Check the hours of the store before arriving as we missed out on that benefit. Would love to return! "

"Comfortable and clean, this cottage was a great choice, especially for one couple. Kitchen was well appointed. Really appreciated the location (quiet neighborhood and convenient to Acadia). As another reviewer mentioned, it was an easy ride to the carriage roads. We borrowed bikes from the house, and they worked well for us. Would stay at this cottage again. "

"Authentic inn with lots of character and features. Very helpful staff. Real fire place in the room if that’s something that appeals to you. Room was immaculate, bed very comfortable and a nice little breakfast selection for the morning. Easy check in and some lovely outdoor seating with fire pits. It is possible to walk to Northeast harbour. "

"This property was in a great location to all that we wanted to do. It was clean and plenty room for 4 people. The stairs going up to bedrooms were pretty steep coming down at night to go to the bathroom late at night but they were doable. We enjoyed our stay. "

"Out of the chaos of Bar Harbor. Yet, close enough to quickly get there if you like. For us, we relish the quieter side of the island, and didn't have to 'live' in the mass of people. Great access to whatever we like - especially Jordan Pond and the 'back way' to Cadillac Mountain. Very nice place. Modern and clean. Everything you need."

"Otter Creek Cottage worked very well for our group of six adults (two couples and two singles), it would also work great for someone with kids (the attic has so much room)! The property manager, Tim, was very responsive. Location is convenient to both Bar Harbor and Acadia, and an easy trip to Roosevelt-Campobello, and so many other things. Kitchen is very well stocked (loved the storage options)! The area is quiet, we enjoyed the back yard (plenty of seating), easy walk to a small market. Wi-Fi access was good. It was a wonderful stay!
