As another reviewer mentioned, it was an easy ride to the carriage roads. We borrowed bikes from the house, and they worked well for us. Would stay at this cottage again. "

"Authentic inn with lots of character and features. Very helpful staff. Real fire place in the room if that’s something that appeals to you. Room was immaculate, bed very comfortable and a nice little breakfast selection for the morning. Easy check in and some lovely outdoor seating with fire pits. It is possible to walk to Northeast harbour. "

"The home was like staying at grandma’s house, complete with dust bunnies and spider webs. It’s a cute home in a great location to explore Acadia. We watched deer from the porch. It was a fantastic stay in that regard. RedAwning … a different story. They got our check in date wrong, so we could not get into the property until almost midnight. At one point they said go find other lodging… ummm, it’s not a city. Other lodging isn’t an option. Our our refrigerated groceries ruined. They were an absolute nightmare to work with to solve the problem that night, and they failed to show kindness or professionalism during any of our contact. I imagine they are responsible for the cleaning of the property and they have let the owners and the guests down. I had to scrub the kitchen down before we could use it. In my experience, it is a terrible management company. I suggest you avoid them. "

"This was a really great accommodation. The studio was much bigger than expected, and Eric had thought of everything one could need for a stay. Surrounded by nature and trees, and not far from Acadia National Park. Communication was smooth, and Eric always responded very quickly. If we are in the area again, we would love to come back."

"This property was in a great location to all that we wanted to do. It was clean and plenty room for 4 people. The stairs going up to bedrooms were pretty steep coming down at night to go to the bathroom late at night but they were doable. We enjoyed our stay. "

"Out of the chaos of Bar Harbor. Yet, close enough to quickly get there if you like. For us, we relish the quieter side of the island, and didn't have to 'live' in the mass of people. Great access to whatever we like - especially Jordan Pond and the 'back way' to Cadillac Mountain. Very nice place. Modern and clean. Everything you need."
