"The cabin itself was decent. Small, but decent and served the purpose I needed better than a basic motel room. I didn't like that it was literally in the middle of a trailer park and that I had to park partially in the driveway, but if you're not worried about your surroundings, it was just fine. It was well equipped, close enough to walk to multiple food / coffee options, and the area as a whole was super charming. Mostly, I just didn't like being situated in the middle of a trailer park."

"This place felt super comfortable and cozy. We really enjoyed the hot tub, heated pool, and sauna. It was raining the whole time we were in Oregon, so the amenities were nice to have to warm up. "Amazing stay close to hikes and wildflowers! Loved that we could hike the Mosier Plateau trail and walk to Mo Co for beers. Short drive to Hood River. Beautiful views for relaxing! "Our stay was good, that being said. It’s listed as being secluded and private. It’s far from private and only secluded because of the location. The need to list that the hot tub is not private and it is not next to the house.. it’s across the muddy pine needle filed parking area and down a muddy trail. The hot tub is a great feature, but if your looking for seclusion and privacy.. this may not be the place for you. The house has a spa bathtub, that would be great if the neighbors construction...

"My husband and I had such a lovely stay at this cabin. It was so relaxing and everything was super clean and well-stocked. Our only complaint was the neighbor’s kids were kicking up a bunch of dirt into the air while riding on ATVs one day, but that’s not the owner’s fault. We would definitely be back!"

"This house was everything we were looking for and definitely one of the cleanest places we have stayed at! Our children cried as we left the driveway as it was their favorite place so far. "House was very nice with great amenities. Views were great. The house is on a well and so copper/minerals in the water so you do not want to drink it. Bring your own water. If you have an elderly person with you be cautious with about 8 steps that go down to walkway and then 4-5 back into the house."

"This is cute little cabin in the pretty Oregon backdrop. It is accurate in it's description. My girlfriend and I stayed for four days and enjoyed every bit. We did run into a few issues easily overcome, the back room breaker tripped due to the loading from heaters and lights being on at night. The electric fireplace did not want to work with us so we used the wood stove instead. There was plenty of wood, just needed kindling to get it started. "Such a nice cabin to stay in. We really enjoyed our stay here. As other reviews mention, the upper level and bedroom have a very low ceiling, which isn’t the most comfortable for getting in and out, but this didn’t detract from our stay at all. It is just something to keep in mind when booking. We enjoyed our time here and would recommend it."

"This property was cute and has a lot of potential, but need some TLC and needs to be cleaned. There was a used soap bar in the shower and the floors were dirty with hair and other stuff. Our room didn’t have toilet paper or non-used soap, but luckily when we told the staff, they responded quickly. The area is very walkable, but I recommend arriving before 6pm or you will be left with food options of either a very small grocery or paying $16 for a burger. Overall, I would come back to this place...

"The Cascade Motel is a quaint collection of 1940s cabins. The owners were wonderful and welcoming. The cottages are clean and comfortable with fresh paint and plush mattresses. I loved the old wooden floor, and the wall heaters kept the room cozy when the nighttime temperatures fell significantly. However, the tiny shower (in cottage #8) would be a problem for anybody over 250 lbs, so choose a different cabin if you are on the larger side. Very quiet and restful. I would happily stay there again!"
