"Stevenson is a peaceful, quiet little town on the banks of the Columbia River. Riverside Inn is the most affordable lodging in town, I will be returning next year."

It was very hot when we went to visit, but the views were beautiful and there were some things in walking distance to experience. We loved going on the sternwheeler.

Excellent
Drive along that river road and be sure to catch all the waterfalls along the way. The railroad is quiet and even with windows open on that side of the hotel, I never heard it and slept through the night.

Electric car chargers one mile away, expensive but convenient. If planning to stay for spending time across the river, consider buying a BreezeBy pass which will reduce the bridge toll costs.
"Rooms were so spacious, the bed was comfortable, the staff was so pleasant and the VIEW WAS WONDERFUL!
It is not NEW or MODERN like Hyatt, but it is clean and amazing!!! "
"Great place to stay. Restaurant was really good! Had 3 meals there, and all were delicious and carefully thought out and executed.
My only issue was with the young host at the restaurant one evening, I think her name was Celi. Barely a greeting, barely any eye contact, curt, and short. No grace or sense of hospitality. This position is so important…it is the first experience your guest has with the restaurant, and it was a huge fail.
After dinner, I asked her for a small ziplock bag for ice (for an unhappy knee). Without looking at me she said they didn’t have any plastic bags in the kitchen..!(I’ve worked in kitchens for 40 years, there’s a plastic bag in there somewhere!) Her co worker heard and said “really!?” I’m going to check. The co worker came back with one and even asked if I wanted ice. Now that’s how to do it. So, if you get someone who is welcoming & gracious at the front podium, you’ve got a winning place. "
"We stayed in one of the private jacuzzi rooms, it was great. They drain and fill everyday with the hot springs mineral water. It was very relaxing and quiet. Will definitely be coming back to stay again. "
"Great hotel, in the middle of the town. Walking distance to anything you may need. Parking is a bit confusing, check with the front desk for instructions.
One thing that is SUPER IMPORTANT before you book, check to make sure your room is not one of the rooms with a shared bathroom (3rd floor). It wasn't a problem for me but it can be a suprise if you dont realize this."
