"I booked a king forest view room and I got a king room overlooking the roof, office space for skamania, and the parking lot, I did glimpse the tippy tops of trees on the other side of the roof, I guess that’s the forest? The grounds are beautiful and are well maintained, the main building is a jewel in need of polish. Noise transmission between rooms is an issue. I could hear other people's conversations in neighboring roooms. The decor is regrettably poor and tired."

"The hotel staff were amazing. Everyone was so nice and attentive to our requests. The hotel property is beautiful, well maintained and unique to its area. From the amazing views, to the trails, and beautiful trees surrounding the property you will definitely be grounded and recharged. Complimentary coffee in the morning in the lobby for hotel guests was a nice perk. Tasted better than your generic fare. The lodge is not too far from other sites and activities to enjoy. It is quiet, secluded in its nice little forest area. You will be pleasantly surprised and will not regret staying at this amazing property. We will be back!"

"The room was sparsely furnished with towels, chairs, and basic amenities. Beds were comfy. Rooms are NOT soundproofed and the noise from above was incredible - elephants above! The setting is great, in that, there is a grocery store across the way and the building is setback so road noise was very limited. Front desk ppl were pleasant. No freezer in the room, only a small fridge. Clean-ish room - many spiders/webs. Nice that the window opened for fresh air. Fairly priced."
