Definitely an older motel style property, but it’s been renovated quite nicely. The office manager was always available and very anxious to provide anything needed. The room was very clean and had plenty of towels! A good value for what’s available right in Cascade Locks!

The owners seemed really nice so it pains me to give this review. My room was moderately dirty. Baseboards haven't been cleaned lately. There was a layer of dirt on the microwave/fridge. I found long hairs on the sheets (I have a buzz cut). I did have to reconnect the streaming device to the TV (HDMI), and find the dongle/receiver (IR remote control extender) for the remote to work from the bed. I can appreciate that this is a budget option and they are welcoming to PCT through-hikers : I saw care packages in the lobby on a previous visit, and I believe they are offer later checkouts than other places. The shower was clean and towels were washed. Ample parking in front of my room (I was on 2nd floor.) Close walking distance to grocery store and several restaurants and coffee shop.

The owner/manager of Columbia Gorge Inn went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and feel at home. He even let use his washing machine and dryer to wash our dirty hiking clothes. Highly recommend!

Clean, accommodating and willing to ensure customer satisfaction. Ols school keys added ambiance and some nostalgia, to our stay. Did return for another stay for two reasons, location and price. Whiskey Flats is a restaurant/bar with energy, great food and libations to enjoy for all
