"I highly recommend Due Mori hotel. It is wonderfully located at the heart of the old town. In no more than two minutes by walk, you can reach great local restaurants, amazing pastry shops as well as the main square (Piazza degli Scacchi) and the castle. Its staff is extraordinary helpful. During our stay, Mr Alberto (at the reception) was extraordinary helpful in scouting for a place to dine while it was already late at night. "Beautifully re-purposed estate. The hotel hosted a large event one night, making the restaurant unavailable; and the noise from the crowd was too loud to sleep until well after midnight. Similarly, the noise from the restaurant on our second night was too noisy to sleep until after midnight. The room is designed in a strange manner that puts the bed up three steps on a platform, and the window controls are not within reach without an unnaturally high step up on another platform against the well....
