You’d be able to visit with your 'Highlands/Cashiers' friends & to eat, drink, see all the plays, concerts, & art exhibits the area has to offer. Our Home has 3500 sq feet of decorated interior space and 1000 sq feet of deck space, including outdoor fireplace and porch, grill and seating area & plenty of space to spread out.

Entertainment was top priority in designing our home, with open floor plan and easy traffic flow. Dishware and glassware included. 7 Flat Screen TVs in GR, & both masters, including 52’ in lower level 'theater' room. DirecTV Stream and wireless internet throughout our home.
There is nothing like sitting on the porch and rocking in the cool breezes at 4000 feet elevation. Choose to cook in our professional cooks’ dream kitchen & eat at our dining table for 8, or enjoy nature outside on our deck where you can hear the mountain stream bubbling by as you feel the stresses melt away. Lower level has unique wine cellar so you can store & enjoy your wine without ever getting back into your car!
Lounge back and relax because comfort in our home and bedrooms is our number one priority. All Bedrooms have ensuite baths and there are no adjoining walls in the bedrooms, creating the utmost in privacy. Bedrooms are divided up with one master on the main, another master & two additional bedrooms upstairs & one bedroom / theatre room combo on the lower level, which includes the family room & one deck. Extra details to comfort include personalized touches throughout our home.
Security: In addition to being in a gated community, the home includes security cameras outside and a Ring doorbell, for your extra protection!

Great space for our family gathering. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space when needed, plenty of room for us all to b together. Don't miss the Glen Cove trails, the sheep and goats and donkeys, the green house...
We had 8 golfers that came in to play golf a long weekend. The home was a perfect location for both Old Edwards and Glen Cove. Home and host were awesome and we will come again.

This is our second stay at this house and I cannot say enough! The owner is so responsive and makes checking in and out seamless and simple. The house is the best equipped VRBO we have stayed in from linens/towels to kitchen equipment. The house is meticulously maintained and the perfect home for enjoying time as a family or group of friends. We cannot wait to come back and stay again!
This beautiful house is perfectly located between Cashiers and Highlands. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed and the playroom was a hit with the kids. The host was quick to respond with questions we had prior to booking and even went above and beyond to mail back an item I left behind. The house is located in a quiet gated community and provided opportunities for peaceful walks without the concern for traffic. We would give this a 10 star rating if we could!
Great neighborhood, half way between Cashiers & Highlands
Incredible, relaxing stay sparked by this home. We love the outdoors and this home had a huge porch with 2 swing beds that we stayed on if we were at the residence. We ate on the porch, watched the Olympics there and played games in the driveway. Nearby pickleball court was great. The Grill which was in the neighborhood was beautiful, quiet, great service, food was hit and miss. Highlands has great restaurants. We were just a large group with kids so tried to stay in low key area. This house had quirks that the kids could not get enough of. It was well done but not so precious that we had to watch every move they made. Great time!

Our family of eight adults spent Thanksgiving week at this fabulous house that is located between Cashiers and Highlands. It is a perfect location for shopping and dining in both towns. There is a two car garage and a parking pad for two cars. The house is very spacious with 4 large bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Bedding was very comfortable. House was spotless! Although we dined out for most meals, we enjoyed our Thanksgiving meal at the house which was extremely well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The weather turned cold for most of our stay and we were not able to fully enjoy the huge decks off the back of the house. But we thoroughly enjoyed the nightly fires in the large stone fireplace. There was plenty of comfortable seating available in the great room and dining area. Owner was easy to reach and quick to respond to any questions. Easily one of the best VRBO rentals that we have stayed in. We would definitely rent again.

Wonderful house and owner
We stayed here for a girl's weekend trip and it was wonderful! The house was amazing and had everything we needed. So spacious and plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves. Debi was great to work with and helped us plan the perfect trip to Highlands. Can't wait to return!!
We spent the week in this home with our family for the Thanksgiving holiday. The house was perfect. Plenty of room for everyone and a perfect location between Highlands and Cashiers. Would definitely recommend!! Thank you for a wonderful time.

What a beautiful house! We had a great weekend in the mountains and could not be happier with the house the family provided! They are an amazing family that will do anything to make sure you enjoy your trip. I will definitely be using this house in the future!!!!

The perfect mountain retreat!
Our week in June was the third summer we have vacationed in this spacious and beautiful home in Old Edwards Club. Our group includes three couples and grandchildren ages 16, 12 and 10, and EVERYONE has plenty of room to spread out and relax. Kitchen is well appointed, baths are beautiful and porch must comfortable the whole week. We really enjoy the club pool, used it every day! We have already planned our week in 2017-thanks Debi and David for the memories!

Gorgeous house, great location and beautiful views
We recently rented this home for a Highlands wedding we attended. The home was everything promised and more. It was the perfect accommodations for 5 couples. It was conveniently located to Highlands and Cashiers. We would definitely stay at this home again and highly recommend it to others. Thanks, Debi, for answering all of our questions and being so easy to work with!
No detail was left unattended in this wonderful home. Comfortable in every way for our party of 7 (ages 8-70+). From the fully equipped kitchen, downstairs game rooms, spacious family room, and private en suite bathrooms for every bedroom, we couldn’t have asked for a better property. Conveniently located between Cashiers and Highlands, there were plenty of options for outings and adventures. Our host was attentive and extremely helpful and made everything seamless from check in to check out. Couldn’t have asked for a better location or accommodations for our first trip to the area.
We enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. We had mostly great weather, made some fires. Beds were comfy house was really clean and was beautifully decorated for the fall holidays. The owner had a beautiful gift bag waiting for us which included a birthday balloon! The only negative I might have is the kitchen supplies could use some updating. Other than that, everything was wonderful and would definitely stay there again.

Our favorite house yet!
Our family has been coming together in Highlands for nearly 10 years for a week in June. This house met our every need and is in the beautiful Old Edwards Club between Cashiers and Highlands. Temporary membership was well worth doing for all of us--lovely pool , awesome golf course and clubhouse and Grill most enjoyable. The house has room for everyone to spread out, beds the MOST comfy we've ever slept in on vacation, porch-outdoor fireplace the best spot on cool evenings. Debi and ssDavid were most helpful and attentive during our stay-wonderful hosts. We have already reserved our week for 2015!

Beautiful Home for Weekend Getaway
Wonderful rental property in a prestigious community! The home is beautiful and is in a great location with easy access to downtown Highlands, NC. The rooms are very spacious and well appointed. The kitchen and grill are fantastic with a great view from the porch! We stayed during a cold 3-day weekend in February and truly enjoyed having a large, wood burning fireplace to make for a cozy winter escape while watching the snow flurries outside. There are plenty of rooms for a family vacation and we felt the home was also very welcoming for just a couple looking to getaway for the weekend. When you head into town, be sure to stop for breakfast at Mountain Fresh and coffee at Buck's. I can't express enough how nice the owners were to work with on arranging the reservation and answering any questions about the house. It was my first experience using VRBO and I will certainly look to return to this property again!

Problem after problem
This house looked nice enough when we checked in. I suppose the pan under the leaking sink in the powder room should have been a tip off. We experienced a leak under the kitchen sink, a stopped up air conditioner drain that caused the master bedroom floor to buckle to the extent we frequently tripped on it, and a nail head incompletely seated in a stair tread that caused a foot wound. The downstairs air conditioner did not cool well, the dryer did not dry clothes well. The fact that the owner responds promptly to problems such as these does not make up for the hassle of experiencing them.

Our Family Loved this Home!
We stayed in this beautiful home for 8 days in August and loved every minute of our visit. There were 8 of us and the home is set up where everyone has their own space and everyone was comfortable. Debi has the home completely turn key and it's just like being at your own home with every convenience you can think of. Since we were a large group we stayed in most evenings and ate dinner at home. There was a large kitchen and dining room area with doors opening up to the covered deck that also had ample seating. Our family loved sitting out on the deck in the mornings and in the evenings. There is a separate living area downstairs where our kids hung out and they loved having their own space. We had my in-laws with us who are 80ish and there is a nice bedroom on the main level so they didn't have to deal with the stairs going up or down, which they appreciated. We all commented almost daily how perfect this home was for us to all be together.
The neighborhood itself is first class and is also home to the Old Edwards Golf Course which is just extraordinary and has a terrific clubhouse with fitness center and restaurant. The neighborhood is gated and we felt very safe and secure there. It is situated between Highlands and Cashiers and it's close to Whiteside Mountain, where you can hike up to the top and see amazing views. We went to Ingles grocery store in Cashiers almost every day and it was just a short drive there and offers a lot of quality food choices. Lots of good restaurants within 20-30 minute drive and places to hike and see waterfalls are close by.
This is an ideal way to spend a vacation in the mountains and I would highly recommend this home for your family and friends.
The location is perfect for going to both Cashiers and Highlands. The beds, sheets, and towels were all very comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped and organized. Would love to stay here again!
East access to both Highlands & Cashiers for dining & shopping. Numerous hiking within 30 minutes. Bedroom suites allowed 4 adult couples to have comfort & privacy. Large living, dining & gourmet kitchen provided great entertaining space. Our fav was outdoor porch with swings & fireplace- enjoyed cool weather while listening to creek. Game room provided entertainment especially on rainy day. Also, located in a beautiful community! Oh, the master shower with duel shower heads was wonderful!
We absolutely loved this house. It was perfect for 3 families with kids of all ages. An easy set up, comfortable furniture and everything you need. The porch is spectacular, our favorite spot. We wanted to book again for next year but it’s already taken! Haha. We will be back for sure.
