The Dogwood Cabin – Part of Cashiers Lake Cabins

Lovely 1BR/1BA cabin in the heart of Cashiers, NC. The cabin is one of six on-site. All were fully renovated / remodeled in late 2021 after being relocated to the site from Waynesville, NC, where they were used by the US Forestry Dept. The property is located directly on Cashiers Lake and within walking distance to shops, restaurants, trails and all that Cashiers has to offer! Amenities on site include free parking, use of communal fire pit/grill. Let us be your basecamp for adventure.

Please note: Cashiers Lake is privately owned and is currently drained due to new development. As of March, 2025 we have not been informed as to when the lake will be filled again.

Very enjoyable stay! It was unfortunate that the lake was drained & another unit was being worked on nearby (no fault of the host), but Renee was incredibly responsive, attentive, and understanding to any need or concern. It was a lovely, cozy cabin and very easy walk to all of the shops in town & nearby park. Would definitely stay again!

Delightful, clean, charming, sweet and spacious for a little cabin. It has everything you need and more, even has a deck with furniture. Absolutely give it 5 stars. I would suggest having a rope to help keep the armoire right door open that ties to the curtain tie back. The TV is large and awesome. Thank you so much!

Beautiful back drop of the lake. Peaceful and quite but close to town and all its attractions. My boys and I had a great stay. I would stay here again.

Was as advertised but the bed was a sink hole. We were good with the rustic vibe but felt like we were sleeping on a horse hair mattress sack. Good mattress makes all the difference when staying away from home.
