"Our stay went very well. Easy and quick check in and check out. A lot of options at breakfast. The shuttle to downtown and the beach runs every hour and is very convenient since the hotel is up a steep hill. The building seems to be a little old but we had no issues. The AC and Wifi worked fine. Access to the beach club is also great since they have chairs you can use. "

"This was one of the most unique places we have ever stayed. The staff was excellent. The rooms were great. The breakfast was light and gets you going. The spa was great and the pool was perhaps the best we have ever been in. The staff is accommodating and made our honeymoon truly special. One thing, do not leave any food items open in your room, the insects will find a way. That was completely our fault. :-)"

"Nice property overall. But definitely needs a facelift. More modern items in room like usb and outlets. Our showerhead didn’t properly and no hot water. Was upset that rental place to rent some boogie boards was closed on all days (Friday) Would return though."

"This was a nice hillside property and it was not far from town (just about a 7 minute drive). The property manager folks communicated with us as needed. All instructions to get to the property were accurate. A 4WD is recommended but in this case we were able to make it to the property fine in a 2WD van. The hills were a little steep but not too much for this van. The pool area was amazing. The amenities were well stocked and the beds were comfortable. We did see monkeys right out the kitchen window a couple times and you can hear the howlers frequently nearby. A welcome package was left for us as well. I would definitely stay here again if staying in the Tamarindo area! It is also a nice easy drive to the Liberia airport from there (1.5 hours, no traffic or road construction like when going to San Jose, which is a mess)."

"Beautiful water feature / pool, the casitas are modern, clean and comfortable overall, and there’s an open shared dining area. That said, for the price, the property needs some work. We were told that we couldn’t use the open kitchen area at all (even to microwave our own food for a minute) because “it won’t be fair to other guests,” even though it wasn’t being used at all in the evening. Oddly, our upgraded “Garden View” didn’t have a garden view at all; there was essentially a bush in front of it, next to a fence and a house, where presumably the owners lived. And, most importantly, the bathroom in our casita didn’t have a door, just a curtain, creating a lack of privacy for guests. Lastly, the property was clearly subdivided to maximize income for the owners, but there isn’t much space or privacy between the casitas. And a pile of rocks at the front of the property when we walked in suggested an active construction site, rather than a place to rest and recover."
