It was tricky getting around by car initially as the wifi was not great in the town & many streets are one-way or not for motorists, but walking around was easier. Owner also provided written directions, which were helpful, but then we lost our way when looking for parking (we had to wait as we arrived there during their lunch break). "

"Hotel was easy to get to, especially if you are new to driving in Italy (like myself!) No ZTL if you enter through Porta Romana. Valet parking made it super easy. Staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. They even held my rental car post check out so I could attend a local meeting. Breakfast was fantastic. Rooms were very comfortable as well. Thank you to the staff for making my family’s stay easy for us!"

We also enjoyed meeting her son who runs the wine shop and helped us decide with our tastings. Orvieto is an ancient city not to be missed. "
