"Friendly and courteous staff. Beautiful views, very clean and amazing rooms. Great breakfast. Very close to Barberino Tavernalle town which was very pretty! Only 45 minutes to beautiful Florence and 30-40 minutes to San Gimignano and Siena. Definitely recommend this villa hotel and would definitely go back if I had the opportunity again to visit Tuscany!"

"We had an excellent 1 night stay. The hotel is located in beautiful setting among the Tuscany hills with an easy 40 minutes drive south of Florence. IThe property sits an olive orchard directly below to a picture perfect Chianti vineyard. The views of the Tuscan hills at sunset and sunrise were spectacular. The registration process was quick and easy. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. He walked us to our room to make sure we were happy with our accomodations. Our room was spacious, the beds were comfortable and the view of the Tuscan hills through the olive trees was pretty. After a bit of exploring in the August heat, we settled into the hotel bar for a cold beer and light snacks. The nice young lady who served us, Sophia, was so friendly and eager to chat with us about our travel experiences. We had dinner at sunset on the hotel terrace. The food, wine, and service were all excellent, and the price was reasonable. Breakfast on the terrace was also excellent with plenty of fresh, interesting, and tasty choices. It was a memorable 5 star hotel in every way."

"Located in a beautiful little village, this property has all the accouterments of la bella vita. Both bedrooms have very comfortable beds with air-conditioning if needed. The little kitchen is well stocked with utensils and plates, glasses, etc. Two bathrooms with showers make hosting guests very convenient. Steps from the front door are 4 amazing restaurants! Literally every well-known city in the Chianti region is within a 40 minute to 90 minute drive. This is truly wine tasting heaven. Hosts are incredibly responsive and helpful with regional tips and suggestions. The little rooftop deck is a dream (sunsets are breathtaking) Can't wait to return!"

"The villa was beautiful, even more spacious than expected. The outside was quintessential Tuscany, serene and breathtaking. Luigi was one of the most responsive and gracious hosts we have encountered. He always responded quickly and when asked questions beyond his scope he would seek the answers. He invited us to dine at his family’s restaurant, which was the best meal we had during our time visiting the region. It was so great we dined there again on our last night. We had an amazing time in Tuscany and it was amplified by the home, Luigi and La Toppa!!!"
