"The rooms were cleaned daily , very well . Fresh bedding as well as towels provided each time. The hotel itself is looking a bit tired in the bedrooms but as you are out of the hotel during the day it really didn’t matter to us. The view from the outside area is great and the staff were very friendly and helpful "

"This was the best breakfast we had on our trip to Italy! Fresh fruit, 3-4 fresh assortment of pastries, cereals , sausage and meats, delicious eggs to order and wonderful coffee and lattes. Attentive service, immaculate rooms, gorgeous lakeside views and friendly staff! We were a few steps from the ferry and surrounded by great restaurants and shops! Thank you’"

"Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. It’s a great location to walk the “medieval suburb” as our reception person call this absolute gem of a town. Friendly, easy to navigate and the castle is a special treat! You must be able to walk well to navigate the old town below the hotel."

"We had an amazing stay from the moment we arrived! We had booked Hotel Augusta as our base as we were running the Lake Garda marathon, which finished at Malcesine. We had a hire car and were able to park up no problem with ample and secure spaces. When checking in, we were given a warm welcome and given full instructions on things like breakfast and accessing the leisure facilities. Onto our room and we had one of the most spectacular balcony views I've ever seen, overlooking the town, the castle, the lake and the cliffs beyond. Everything was incredibly clean, the bed was huge and very comfortable. The nicest touch was that after explaining that we wouldn't make breakfast on the Sunday as we had to be away early for the marathon, one of the team knocked on our door the evening before with a lovely breakfast spread for the morning to ensure we were well fuelled. It was lovely and completely unexpected, but really appreciated. The indoor and outdoor pools with hot tub were heavenly after the marathon. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone, but especially if you're doing the marathon! Thanks again for an amazing stay."

"Just come back from a lovely stay, beautiful views and very friendly and accommodating staff. The room was very spacious, comfy and clean. The sauna was great with a fantastic view, the hot tub unfortunately was too cold for us but they did explain they had some faults. The staff were really good at responding to any questions. They also provided a free shuttle to the town, they did only have 3 timings to choose from with the latest time being 5.30pm, unfortunately with a small limited menu we decided to eat out most of the nights which meant we did have to walk back in the later evenings or get a taxi. The walk back is very up hill with harsh paths and no lighting which was quite scary after a drink or two! There is a taxi service which the hotel gave us their number, they were quick and it cost around 25 euros. Overall we would definitely be back but would definitely consider hiring a car!"
