The hotel is in a great location in a wonderful part of Lisbon with loads of cafes, restaurants, wine bars and more! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive and the breakfast in the morning was very hearty and delicious- even our kids liked it!

The pool is a community pool, but the hotel has a section of reserved chairs for hotel guests. eBikes were included in the reservation so we biked for ~30 minutes to go down by the river and make it easier to get back up to the hotel. I highly recommend a stay at this historic property in Marvão. It has an old world charm and the amenities are excellent. The rooms are clean and comfortable, brightly lit, the breakfast superb and the view from the dining room is amazing. The staff were friendly and most helpful.
