"We had a relaxing stay in this peaceful location. The house is well equipped and very clean. Susana our host lives nearby and checked in with us via text. She was friendly and not intrusive. The pool kept our children entertained. There is plenty to do in the area if you dont mind a drive. The only issue was the patchy internet which cannot be helped given the rural location. We were happy to disconnect for a while and relax. We would book again."

"El entorno de la casa tiene muchísimo encanto y eso compensa la dificultad para llegar. Hay que tener cuidado si se intenta acceder de noche con las indicaciones del GPS. Algunos colchones son mejorables y se sale a veces el agua de la ducha pero en general, muy bien todo."

"Wir waren Ende Februar hier; da konnte es nachts recht kühl werden. Schön, dass es einen Kaminofen mit kostenlosem Heizholz gab und die Klimaanlage im Notfall auch heizte. Jedes Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein eigenes Bad - man kann für größere Gruppen auch Wohnungen verbinden. Unsere Wohnung ("Landhaus") hatte eine gut ausgestattete Küche mit vorgelagerter, überdachter Veranda, von der man einen herrlichen Blick auf den Garten und die Umgebung bis zur Burg von Marvao hatte. "Tapada da Beirã was a charming villa, it had everything we could have wished for, the hosts were lovely and were on hand with advice and knowledge of the area. Plenty of outdoor spaces to relax or eat al fresco and a super swimming pool. You need a car to get around, the nearest shop is in Santo António das Areias. About 20 steps from the Villa is a lovely restaurant and the food was amazing as were the staff."

"Toda coincidencia con la realidad es pura casualidad. Se supone que, según pone el anuncio, tiene bañera de hidromasaje y wifi. No es así. De las 5 casas que tienen en alquiler, que tampoco se especifica cual es la que se alquila en el anuncio, solamente 1 posee hidromasaje. El wifi es mas bien para la ley del mas fuerte, el primero que lo pilla, es el afortunado, el resto, ni cobertura para una llamada, prácticamente. "Passámos 4 noites na casa da Oliveira e apesar do frio que se fez sentir a climatização da casa é muito boa e estivemos sempre confortáveis. Os miúdos adoraram brincar no exterior e interagir com os animais da quinta. "We spent seven days here in April, 2023. This is a lovely village with everything you might need for a great time. Restaurants were exceptionally good. The people were very nice and outgoing. Many spoke English. Lots of good walking in the area. We'd go back to this area in a heartbeat. If you go don't miss nearby Marvao castle and village. As for the house, there are 38 steep steps from the lower level up to the terrace. The middle flight is steepest and has no handrail. The house is 3 levels...
