"This property has a great location. Unfortunately, Expedia advertised it as soundproof, but we were able to hear people talking outside the building on the opposite side of our room, along with a dog barking for almost an hour. Other than that, the place was good. The check-in process was a little confusing at first, but not too difficult."
"I loved the decoration and cleanliness of the room. And didn’t like the lack of staff and service. Also, they told us when we arrived that there was going to be breakfast in the morning and there wasn’t any. Not even coffee. There was only tea and no tables and chairs to sit."
"Well located friendly hotel outside citadel but close to ramparts. Welcome from Manager was a real highlight after long journey. Breakfast good although again I am puzzled about the total absence of milk (for tea) in room and lack of tea spoons at breakfast. "
"We enjoyed our stay in this lovely historic building. It was a 5 min drive to main Obisdos town. The pool and tennis court was out of action.the rooms were large and air. The breakfast was ample. "
"A unique older style hotel. It was clean, quiet and maybe 10 inutes to the castle. A preordered breakfast was ready for you the next morning. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. "

"It’s an authentic portuguese village. Don’t let the outside fool you the interior and the stay was outstanding. The host made it completely enjoyable and was super informative. Definitely will come back. "
"Great central place to stay. Local food options are awesome! The towels were quite thin and worn. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast options were immense! Coffee was something to be desired, but hot chocolate was good. "

"We were met by Francisco who told us that the house has been in his family for centuries. They’ve converted many rooms into guest accommodation and modernised but the vibe is charming. Room and bathroom were spotless. Bed comfortable. Easy walk to Obidos old city and castle. The location was quiet. Parking on site. "
"Excellent experience. We were in the castle. Service was excellent. Room was nice and clean and quiet. It smells musty ( not too bad though) but expected for an old castle. The town is quaint as well with shops. Had excellent meal in town and great breakfast at hotel. This was one of our favorite experiences!"
"This hotel was beautiful. Loved our spacious room and bathroom! We had a cute little patio outside our room too. The roof has amazing views. The staff was very responsive, very helpful and friendly. Love that everything in the shared kitchen is available the guests. Would definitely stay here again!"
