"The hotel is in a beautiful location with stunning views. It’s a 30 minute walk into San Gimignano. A taxi, IF you can get one costs €30 during the day and €60 after 8. It would be great if the hotel offered a shuttle service but it doesn’t. The hotel is part way through a refurbishment, some rooms are still to be upgraded. Our room had a stunning view of the Tuscan countryside. The Spa is only one in the afternoon. Front desk staff were very good, restaurant staff less so. The restaurant is very plain and we were disappointed with breakfast Overall it’s a decent hotel in a wonderful location."

"GORGEOUS. GORGEOUS. GORGEOUS. Such an incredible property with such a lovely family operating it. The wines are delicious, the apartments are spectacular, the food is incredibly tasty. The pool was wonderful and the property and farm buildings were gorgeous While we were there, we did a wine tasting (absolutely delicious) and had the aperativo/dinner in the courtyard. Wonderful experiences. Our apartment was spacious, completely equipped with a small kitchen and beautiful large bathroom. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The staff/family were incredible!! They were very welcoming. Ricardo especially was very helpful in showing us around. We hope to return to enjoy the property (and the wine) again soon!"

I do wish the bedding had been a little cleaner. The host welcomed us warmly, and the town was absolutely beautiful. It is definitely a place I would love to visit again."

"Beautiful location in Tuscany. The breakfasts were very good, and the owner cooked meals for the guests on several evenings. While the building in naturally old, it was charming, a real taste of Tuscan living. We were there during the unusual heat wave that Europe experienced in June 2026, and like many places in Europe, the AC was not very powerful, but we managed. he swimming pool is beautiful and the surrounding gardens and areas were top-notch. We would stay there again if we get back to this area."
