Un gioiellino sul corso principale

Albergo a dimensione d'uomo, così come il paese che rappresenta. La camera, pur affacciandosi sul corso, perfettamente insonorizzata si presenta accogliente, pulita e ampia, così come il bagno, molto confortevole. I proprietari sono molto disponibili. Devo sottolineare la colazione ricca e abbondantissima servita con eleganza e molto gustosa.

Great Getaway in sleepy Italian town

We had a wonderful couple of nights at Hotel La Torre. The staff was very helpful and cheerful. The rooms were large, comfortable, clean and air-conditioned. Breakfast was plentiful. We loved Castelioni del Lago - beautiful views, nice people and great little restaurants.

Lovely hotel in Italian hill town

Great little hotle in the heart of town, the owners are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel is ideally suited for exploring Tuscany and Umbria. Close to Perugia, Cortona and Pienza as well as other delightful Italian hilltop villages. The hotel is located in the centre of Castiglion del Lago,which overlooks Lake Tresimino. The views from the town are stunning. Hotel highly recommended. Close to lots of restaurants.

Nous avons du nous arrêter avant d'entrer dans le centre , l'un de nous a été voir l'hôtelier qui lui a remis son autorisation pour entrer dans le centre historique. Ensuite il est possible d'avoir une place de parking gratuite à environ 200 m, l'hôtelier se fera un plaisir de dire comment y aller.

Sehr nettes kleines Hotel im Altstadtkern

ein kleinesa aber zentral gelegenes Hotel. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und alle Hilfe wurde angeboten. Es wurden kostenlose Parkplätze in der Nähe aufgezeigt, Hilfe beim Ausladen und Zimmerservice ungefragt angeboten. Auf Nachfragen wurde sehr gute Tipps für restaurants in der Nähe gegeben (nachdem nach den Wünschen und Vorlieben gefragt wurde). Insgesammt rundherum empfehlenswert. Sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.

Piacevole struttura dotata di 9 camere posizionata al centro della cittadina proprio sul corso. Personale accogliente. mOttima la pulizia. Ben arredate e confortevoli le stanze .

Great hotel for couples.

Right in the centre of the walled town - no cars allowed apart from a few locals. Our room had a narrow view of the lake but other rooms have no view. The bell tower is nearby that rings on the 1/4 hour up to midnight so not for those wanting to go to sleep early. This is Italy so eat late and enjoy a drink afterwards in one of the small bars. The staff are very helpful and speak good English. Hot water and cold milk were brought to the room for my "must have" afternoon cuppa (don't travel without a few of your favourite teabags!!). The staff helped us to hire Vespers to go sightseeing around the lake which is easily done in a day and makes you explore the smaller country roads. Both bedroom and bathroom were large and well furnished. The tight spiral staircase down to the breakfast room would be difficult for the less spritely but you can walk around outside of the building to get in through the patio door. Breakfast is very generous so take a plastic lidded box to pack up the spare for lunch.

Un tranquillo hotel a Castiglione del Lago

E' posizionato nel centro storico di Castiglione del Lago, non manca la pulizia e la cortesia. La struttura pur non essendo nuova è dotata di tutto il necessario per trascorrere un pernottamento discreto. Dalla stanza n. 8 (tripla), si vede il lago Trasimeno. Il locale per la colazione è piccolo (3-4 tavoli), ma ben gestito.

Destination Wedding

My friend and I stayed one night in La Torre after attending a wedding at a nearby resort. I can't say enough about the service. They also assisted and helped arrange for a taxi ride after the wedding ended at 11:00 pm. La Torre is located in a very small, charming town on the lake. The view was spectacular and great restaurant selections nearby. I would definitely recommend La Torre to my friends.

hôtel correct

hôtel dans la rue principale de la vieille ville de castiglione. La gare est à 25 mn à pied et il n'y a pas de bus qui relie la vieille ville. L'hôtel est agréable, l'acceuil sympathique. Pas d'ascenseur, la chambre est un peu basique mais la salle de bains est très bien. Un peu bruyant sur la rue.

Niente di eccezionale

Siamo stati a Castioglion del Lago per una breve vacanza; l'hotel presenta camere ordinate e pulite, i letti comodi. La colazione abbondante. Le pecche che possiamo riscontrare sono che sono poco attrezzati per i più piccoli (non sono dotati di seggiolone e di forno a microonde) inoltre ci aspettavamo dalle nostre domande su cosa poter visitare nei dintorni risposte un'pò meno telegrafiche. Devo dire altresì che il paese è veramente piccolissimo, estremamente turistico, più adatto come base (per poi visitare altri centri come Perugia ed Assisi) che come soggiorno con bimbi piccoli.
