Staff were great and very helpful, Though we found we got better/faster responses to questions when emailing directly versus using expires messenger. The breakfast was wonderful with lots of options. We also ate an evening meal there and it was delicious. Centrally located for for exploration of the etna region. Room was very clean. Would not hesitate to stay again or recommend to a friend

Sicily Trip

The property is lovely, lots of flowers and a very nice pool and sun deck. Our room was very nice and clean. The bathroom is spacious and well appointed. We had dinner there and were very surprised at the quality of the meal. Breakfast was very nice and the service was great. We recommend il Borgo!

Lovely room. Beautiful evening meals. Helped us out when we mis-laid our keys. Pool was very chilly but refreshing in the heat. We weren’t told that restaurant was closed one evening , and they forgot our take away breakfast one day, but quickly scrambled one together. A lovely place

Great location, hard beds, rough staff -notAnthony

Great location for access to Etna and wineries. Perhaps the best feature of the resort was Anthony, the desk clerk. Anthony at reception was wonderful - kind, helpful, smile on his face, and smart. Unfortunately, Sara was troublesome and made comments about our stay, that we were in two beds instead of one, even though we booked the entire room - weird. Hotel needs new beds - beds were rock-hard and furniture was tattered. We needed to put blankets underneath sheets in order to soften the beds a bit. Pool water was not clear. Food in on-location restaurant was really quite awful, but there are limited options surrounding the place. Yay to Anthony - you made the stay great.

La camera era bella ma la colazione non era fresca. ho dovuto fare 50km per cenare perchè c'era il giorno di chiusura del ristorante. La piscina andrebbe decisamente sistemata per via del calcare. Mancavano gli asciugamani per la piscina. Il rapporto qualità prezzo non è soddisfacente

Agréable séjour

Séjour d'une nuit. Nous cherchions un hébergement près des "Gole dell'Alcantara" et celui-ci est parfaitement situé. Un peu difficile à trouver si vous inscrivez sur votre gps "Castiglione di Sicilia", il faut en fait aller à "Mitogio" et là, très facile à trouver. Au calme au milieu de la verdure. Magnifiques bâtiments, grands espaces communs, chambres spacieuses, propres, lit confortable. Petit-déjeuner au top, avec jus d'orange pressé. Le seul petit bémol concerne la piscine. Trop profonde à mon goût, il aurait fallu une pente. Mais sympa pour se rafraîchir... et les bons nageurs ne tiendront pas compte de mon avis. Accueil agréable. Je recommande, et j'y reviendrai certainement
