"This is an amazing property………Classic somerset cottage equipped with all modern conveniences. Super quiet (well a few tractors collecting the harvest!). We all slept very well. It takes 30 mins to walk into Ilminster along a country trail past Dillington Hall for those that like a good walk. About 8 mins by car. Top Castle Cary Hotel Reviews

The Manor Hotel by Greene King Inns

8/10 Good

"I will definitely stay here again. Great location, staff are superb and very friendly. Restaurant is really nice with plenty of menu choices. Only thing worth noting is the room I was in was adjoining on both sides and you hear everything if you are a light sleeper."

George & Pilgrims Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The staff were very helpful and clearly took pride in their work. Clean, comfortable bed and a nice It’s clearly an old pub and the room also had a lot of character which was a refreshing change from the tendency nowadays to make everything the same. Very nice breakfast with very friendly staff."

George Hotel

8/10 Good

"On the positive side the staff were really good. Excellent service and very helpful and friendly. The food was good both for breakfast and evening meal. On the negative side, it's an old building and is showing it's age. The floor in our room had a noticeable slope (disconcerting when you get out of bed at night). There was no hot water one evening for a few hours. Seems no-one had spotted the boiler was off."
