"Great location, in a cabin with all the amenities for glamping you need. Creek with canoeing was the highlight! I recommend they have someone onsite for the store and checkin from 8 - 8pm -hours were limited which affects your ability to get access all the amenities like the pickle ball. Groceries & gas in the area are not convenient so plan accordingly - Crater Lake is an absolute must see"
"Union Creek Resort is a collection of rustic cabins and houses in the woods near a creek, great hiking trails and waterfalls. We stayed there after our day at Crater Lake. We arrived late in the evening but called ahead to let them know and they told us where we would find our check-in information and keys. Sadly, we were only able to spend one night there, but the cabins brought back wonderful childhood memories of Northwoods resorts. Our daughter’s family stayed in one of the cabins, which was cool but a little tight for 4 people. My husband, sister, daughter and I, stayed in one of the premium houses because 3 of us are of an age where we need 2 bathrooms. The house looked to be a 1960s-style ranch. It was very simple, but spacious and comfortable. The electrical outlets in our house were loose and our plugs tended to fall out. I had to plug our phones into the outlet on the base of a table lamp.
We had a full kitchen, but didn’t plan to cook, so we ate breakfast at Beckie’s Café at the resort. The menu was limited, but the food was good and reasonably priced. Our server was efficient and very pleasant. I had hoped for a piece of their famous pie, but I’m a vegetarian and the pies are made with beef and pork tallow, so … bummer.
If you enjoy rustic surroundings in the midst of beautiful woods, listening to the sounds of birds and water as it wends its way through a rocky creek bed, I heartily recommend Union Creek Resort."
"Lovely home with clean accommodations. The property was immaculately kept, and the views were beautiful. We especially enjoyed the smokeless firepit in the yard! Communication was also quick when questions came up. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"
"This is a top notch VRBO. Everything about this place is more than anyone can ask for. The cabin is beautifully done, well decorated and has all sort of amazing and surprising features to make you feel at home. The hosts are great. Super responsive if you need them and you can tell they care about their place and about your stay. We used it as our “base camp” for Crater Lake National Park and other nearby hikes and attractions. It is a perfect for our adventures."
"Host communicated well. Property perfect for large groups. Odd layout in that you couldn't access upstairs by interior staircase, stairs were exterior only. Also not happy with the chore list after paying 270 cleaning fee. Used VRBO for years and expect clearing the refrigerator, empty trash, load dishwasher and strip beds but I'm not vacuuming windows, sweep/mop, clean showers/toilets."
The Green House - Minutes from the Entrance to Crater Lake National Park
10/10 Excellent
"This cottage is a perfect jumping off point for visiting crater lake. The kitchen is exceptionally well supplied with cooking utensils. Bring your own food because the nearest large grocery is in Klamath falls. There is no dish washer, so you may want to plan for simple meals. The fenced back yard was great for our dog. The owner is very clear and timely with communications. We will definitely return!"
