Great room and staff and a good location. The breakfasts were quite plentiful and good food. The only problem is we wish the horseback riding and sailing were available.

Our stay at the Refugio was an absolute highlight of our trip. From the personal welcome, gorgeous view, peaceful location, delicious food, and incredible birdwatching, we loved every minute of our time. We did not want to leave! This is a very special place--every detail was amazing.

Amazing property! Just very remote, not really in Castro. A little hard to find initially ( get good directions from staff) Expedia doesn’t have exact location . Staff wonderful. Food delicious. Wish we had spent more time

buenas habitaciones , buen bath , el personal con muy poca experiencia.muy rígido trataron de imponer horarios de llagada cuando mi reserva estaba garantizada.en ninguna parte dice que tengo que llegar antes de alguna hora. insistieron mucho por teléfono y no advierten a clientes que todos los caminos eran en arreglo y demora mas la llegada. se muestran molestos y se hacen la víctima

Luxury while still being outside the bubble

Amalia, Carlos and Julian have created a wonderful, off the beaten path refuge. You know it’s sited well. It’s on the same cove as Tiarra. See authentic Chiloé in person, not in a bubble.

The location; although very remote -and thankfully the signage on the partial dirt road allowed us to get there easily during the day. It is very peaceful! The design of the 6 rooms unique. The property showcased the volcano and lake well. The staff was very pleasant!
