"This is an older hotel, but beautifully maintained and immaculately clean. The location is perfect, right on the Avalon waterfront and an easy walk to all that Avalon has to offer. Our room had a bit of an ocean view, which was greatly appreciated. The staff is friendly and helpful, but there were a couple of things. First, maid service is only by request, which we did not know, so the room went uncleaned for a couple days. Second, the included continental breakfast offers the barest minimum of choices and could easily be improved with a bit more variety. "

Every time we walked in the lobby, someone had something kind to say we were always addressed and spoken to and welcomed. This is a very special place to stay and it is so beautiful."
