Catalina Island Holidays

Rooms was impeccable, staff was friendly pool and swim up bar we’re excepcional I would definitely come back .it

Our stay at Finest Punta Cana was absolutely amazing! The hotel is beautiful, modern, and has everything you could want for a relaxing getaway, but the best part of this trip was truly the staff. If you’re traveling as a couple, I highly recommend booking the Excellence Club. It made our experience even better and added that extra level of comfort, attention, and ease that made the trip feel truly special. The staff went above and beyond and were so thoughtful and detailed. From Maria making our eggs at Market Table, to Jose helping us arrange a cab service, and Ronny at the bar always making us feel welcomed, we genuinely felt taken care of throughout our entire stay. We won’t forget how comfortable and at ease everyone made us feel. That kind of service makes a trip unforgettable. We absolutely loved our stay and would 100% come back!

Fourth Excellence Stay: An Inconsistent Experience This was our fourth stay at an Excellence resort and our second at Excellence El Carmen, and unfortunately, the best word to describe this visit is inconsistent. Food was a perfect example. Our best meal was at Oregano one night, while our worst was also at Oregano on our final night- the food was somehow both burned and cold at the same time. Pool service was good, but the main pool area was filled with construction every day, which took away from the relaxing atmosphere we’ve enjoyed on previous stays. The evening entertainment has also changed. We used to love the live bands after dinner because they provided a great opportunity to dance. Those bands are gone. The current shows are very loud, and the Dominican show wasn’t presented on Dominican night. The International show was the house band with a single female singer. Our favorite, the silent disco, has also been scaled back from three stations to two and now lasts only 45 minutes. On two nights, the music wasn’t danceable, leaving people standing on the dance floor rather than dancing. We’ve always loved Excellence, which is why these changes are disappointing. Even at checkout, no one asked how our stay was. After four Excellence stays, we’ll be looking at other all-inclusive brands for our next vacation. We hope Excellence takes feedback from loyal repeat guests seriously. We’d like to have a reason to return.
