"The Caboose was great, weather was cold/snowy. We had a great two night stay."

"Room was good, a little worn, but clean and comfortable. The staff was EXCELLENT. Right after checking in, I tried to open the fridge to atore my diabetic mefs. The door was stuck. When I got it open, it came with a little snowfall. The entire freezer compartment was packed with frost. Of course, the bottom half eas warm. I called the front desk & they sent 2 gentleman up right away. Once they saw the ossue, they moved me to a new room right away! The free nr4eakfasts were great. Lot of variety. Eggs with cheese (think mini cheese omelet), sausage, toadt, biscuits, gravy, make-your-own waffles station (choose 1-4 mini waffles). Cereal wirh milk and oatmeal, mini muffins, fresh fruits, coffee & juices. Only thing unavailable was the fresh yogurt station, but plenty to choose. I would stay here again without hesitation. "

"The cabin was clean and spacious. The family loved the pool table and the hot tub but the best part of the cabin was the splendid view. The wrap around decks and the mountain scenery made the stay special. "

"This cabin is perfect for a couples getaway. Is motorcycle accessible and the location is peaceful. Very clean. The only negative thing I can say is it a bottom floor so you can occasionally hear the upstairs guest moving around. We loved it and absolutely plan to visit again as we are frequent visitors to the area. "

"Home was nice with plenty of room and spaces for a big group to spread out. It had a lot of great amenities. Just wish the Mountain View was a little bit better from the deck. And overall, the house could’ve been a little cleaner."

"The cabin was just as described, very beautiful view and comfortable inside. The beds were comfortable, the WIFI worked great, the check in process was very simple. Communication from the management company was excellent. I was able to log on to their website in advance and print out everything I needed about the house. The area of Waynesville was very enjoyable. They have a wonderful, little town with lots of shops and restaurants, many dog friendly places, if you are travelling with a dog.The weather in July was wonderful, great to escape from the Florida heat. Wish I could have stayed longer. We were there for one week.The only negative for us was driving up and down the mountain every day. The roads are winding and steep, very drivable in our car, but not something I enjoyed doing every day. Better if we could have just stayed at the cabin, but our dog needed a walk each day and I didn't want to walk her on those roads, since they are narrow and there are cars. One day a bicycle was coming down on one side of the road, we were driving up the mountain on the other side. The cars behind the bicycle couldn't see us and veered into our lane to pass the bicycle. The first car swerved in front of the bicycle and the second car almost hit us head on. My husband slammed on the brakes and the horn and the car dived back into their lane in the nick of time. That happened on day 1, so we were a little nervous driving on that road after that."

"The property was very nice and great for a large group. The owners were very responsive and helpful. The ski area was further than indicated in the description but other than that the stay was perfect. "
