Top Waynesville Hotel Reviews

Wildrest Hotel

Wildrest Hotel

8/10 Good
"We were pleasantly surprised as we drove into the property… it’s hidden away in one of, if not, the oldest neighborhood in Waynesville. It has an upscale camp feel. It wasn’t as up to date as I expected from the pics, but I think I read that they were going to do some remodeling. I expected a little nicer for the price, but some pay for the uniqueness I suppose. The king bed was too soft for me, but others might not mind. We only stayed one night. Be careful with the automatic lock on the door. Not sure how easy it would be to get locked out. They have some kind of unique system where you might want to have your phone handy entering and exiting. Overall, nice stay."

"Was a good place, however it is very outdated especially for electronics. Bathroom no counter to place anything. Bed was very hard, tv channels were everything you would ever want. The guy at front desk was friendly. I did not use housekeeping even though I was there S-W, as I was by myself & in meetings all day. Great location for what I needed."

Immerse Yourself with Calming Sounds of the Creek. Your Perfect Hideaway Awaits!

10/10 Excellent
"We enjoyed the place. It was clean however the firepitt by the Roaring creek faces the road so cars were a little annoying. The king bed was super loud and uncomfortable it was a spring mattress. The check out time of 10AM seemed unfair since we had to do things to get out that morning on time. And if I go to a hotel they give me an 11AM or 12PM checkout time especially for the price. All in all great time with our kids."

"Amazing place to stay and the owners, Debbie and John, were so nice and hospitable. They welcomed us into their home like we were family. Morning authentic New Orleans chicory coffee was the best way to start the day on the porch watching the cardinals and other birds feeding was mesmerizing. Breakfast was great and it was tough having to leave. Highly recommend if you want to stay at a place within walking distance to downtown Waynesville."
