Spacious 46-square-meter two-room apartment on two levels, comfortably accommodating 4 people. Located on the ground floor of a building in the heart of Catania’s historic centre (a few steps to enter), it’s perfectly situated for exploring the city on foot, given its proximity to Piazza Duomo and the main tourist attractions. On the lower level is the living room with a kitchenette, a sofa bed, a bathroom, and a cosy private terrace; an internal staircase leads to the double bedroom on the upper level.



The layout is as follows:



Ground Floor

- LIVING ROOM: table with chairs, double sofa bed, chest of drawers, closet, split A/C, access to a small private terrace

- KITCHENETTE: with gas burners, electric oven, kettle, refrigerator/freezer

- BATHROOM with shower, sink, toilet, and bidet



Upper floor

- BEDROOM: double bed, split A/C



ADDITIONAL AMENITIES AVAILABLE TO GUESTS: unlimited Wi-Fi, air conditioning, iron and ironing board, clothesline, and hair dryer.

The entire apartment is for the exclusive use of guests during their stay, and there are no shared spaces with thehost or other tenants.



We are very flexible and will be happy to arrange early check-ins or late check-outs, if possible, provided there are no other guests checking out or checking in.

Any requests can only be confirmed the day before arrival.



Seven days before arrival, you will receive instructions on how to register your documents via our Guest Portal and pay the tourist tax.

We need this procedure to verify your information and documents and to send the information to the Alloggiati Web police service, which is the Italian procedure for registering guests in Italy.

The use of air conditioning and heating is subject to compliance with current Italian regulations (Presidential Decree No. 74 of April 16, 2013; Ministerial Decree No. 383 of 6.10.2022).

Summer: The average air temperature must not be lower than 26°C for all types of buildings.

Winter: The weighted average air temperature must not exceed 19°C. The heating season and the daily operating time depend on the climate zone defined by the regulations.

Catania Climate Zone B: 7 hours per day from December 8 to March 23.



For check-ins between 9:00 PM and 12:00 AM, a surcharge will apply, payable in cash upon arrival, as follows:

From 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM: EUR 25

From 11:00 PM to 12:00 AM: EUR 30

Check-in is not possible after midnight, even for an additional fee.



Airbnb automatically charges the tourist tax. Please note that you should request an exemption directly from Airbnb if you are a resident of Catania or if you have children under the age of 16, as in those cases you are not required to pay it.



In the event of improper waste disposal, as defined by the rules that will be explained to you at check-in, a penalty of €150 will be charged.

Here are some must-see spots, all easily accessible on foot:

- Piazza Duomo: The beating heart of the city, featuring the stunning Cathedral of Saint Agatha and the iconic lava-stone elephant - 9-minute walk



- La Pescheria: Sicily’s most famous fish market; an explosion of colours, aromas, and tradition, plus many delicious restaurants - 9-minute walk



- Via Etnea: The shopping street, also ideal for scenic walks with views of Mount Etna - 9-minute walk



- Roman Theatre and Odeon: remnants of ancient Greco-Roman Catania - 5-minute walk



- Ursino Castle: A medieval fortress converted into a museum, perfect for a cultural visit - 7-minute walk



- From the airport, take the Alibus (tickets available on the bus) and get off at the Dusmet stop, then continue on foot for 12 minutes



- From the central station, take the Metro to the STESICORO stop, then walk for 15 minutes



- For those arriving by car: Parking along the blue lines: €0.87/hour or €2.90/half-day - Valid Monday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

In the historic centre, the following applies every day: the Movida Park system (time-based, paid overnight parking from 9:00 PM to 2:00 AM on both weekdays and holidays) is in effect every day, with a flat rate of €1.00.



You can purchase a ticket at parking metres on the street, but I recommend using the EasyPark app so you can adjust theparking time even if you’re away from your car. Always remember to leave a note on the dashboard that says “EasyPark”
