"Nice wide hall and stairs, Room was very comfortable with a great size bathroom, We had tea in the restaurant there and it was very very good, We had a drink in the bar after on a Friday night and it was good only 2 other people in the bar so talked together, Great place to stay, owner's where very friendly and welcoming."

"Our fist visit to Montrose. Lovely hotel which met all our needs in terms of friendliness, cleanliness, amenities and location. We had a very plentiful, tasty breakfast. "Could not recommend this accommodation enough - a real hidden gem! Massive, secure 2 bedroom apartment in a wider bunkhouse complex which was, when we stayed, not occupied. Only 5 mins drive from Kirriemuir and so quiet and peaceful - in the heart of the countryside. Comms were great and all mod cons throughout including WiFi, TVs in all rooms and even a starter hamper! Will definitely book again. The dog loved the outdoor space which is literally ‘on your doorstep’! A+"
