"The staff provided warm, attentive service throughout my stay. The front desk team was friendly and efficient, and the chef—an exceptionally pleasant African‑American woman—prepared fresh scrambled eggs for me and a delicious omelet for my wife. Although pancakes were not made to order this time, the breakfast area was well managed, and even my children, who usually skip breakfast, enjoyed their meal. The room was very clean and generally well maintained. I did notice a few cosmetic issues, including minor paint peeling on the shower ceiling, light scuff marks on the walls, and visible handprints on the eggshell‑finish paint when illuminated. These were aesthetic concerns only; overall cleanliness remained high, and the hotel still feels new and professionally cared for. As someone extremely detail‑oriented and particular about hygiene, I found the property to be well kept. I would recommend repairing the espresso machine and offering improved creamer options to enhance the breakfast experience. One exterior concern: a plastic bag containing what appeared to be discarded material was left near the entrance. At first glance, it resembled possible fecal matter, though my wife believed it was simply chocolate cake that had been run over. Regardless of the contents, its placement at the entry was not ideal. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and my family and I felt comfortable—very much a home‑away‑from‑home experience. I would rate the hotel an 8.5 out of 10. Or 4 out of 5"

"Very friendly service. Good place for an overnight stop."

"Arrived very late, there was no signage on the building or entrance to say it was the Country Inn. We saw in the morning that there was a sign by the road, but it was not lit when we arrived the night before. Receptionist at desk on arrival very friendly. When we arrived to our assigned room, the lights and TV were on, and a wall panel over the HVAC unit was exposed with a fan blowing into HVAC unit. We went back down to the front desk and asked to be assigned to a different room. Receptionist again was very friendly and accommodating. She reassigned us to two separate rooms because she said they had no more that slept 5 people. That was ok, they were across the hall from each other. My kids room seemed fine, our room had a large stain on the carpet. Beds were comfortable. In the morning, housekeeping started knocking on all of the doors at 9:15 am, even though sign at main desk said check out at noon. She even entered my kids room. When we went to check out, day receptionist asked if we were leaving early? I assume because the way that the night receptionist entered the booking for the two new rooms? If they didn't know we were leaving, why was housekeeping entering rooms at 9:30! Overall, felt unsafe at hotel, although surrounding area seemed good. "
