This beautiful vacation home with private pool awaits you in Caunes-Minervois, in the department of Aude, 21 km from the impressive city of Carcassonne. The comfortably furnished house is fully air-conditioned and has a private pool, which can be heated on request and for a fee, thus providing pleasant pastime even in spring and autumn. The pool is equipped with an automatic cover. The villa is modern and bright and has three bedrooms, all with private bathrooms. From the balcony on the upper floor there is a magnificent view of the Minervois countryside. The property, nestled on a slope of the Black Mountain, guarantees sufficient privacy. Caunes-Minervois is a beautiful medieval village within walking distance of the house with several stores, cafes and a children's playground. A 30-minute walk away, Notre Dame du Cros invites you to climb and hike, and only a 25-minute drive separates you from Carcassonne, whose main attraction, the Cité de Carcassonne, has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stroll through Carcassone on foot or discover the city from the funicular railroad or a horse-drawn carriage. Gourmets can look forward to Occitan cuisine and must definitely try the famous cassoulet (bean stew). On the Canal du Midi, which connects Toulouse with Sète, you can make a very nice bike ride or walk and of course join a boat trip.
