Location great but not very clean
Location excellent. Appartement definitely not cleaned: very dusty, coffee machine very dirty, freezer compartment frozen over so never emptied or cleaned.
The apartment is ideal for a visit to Carcassonne. The location is great - easy to walk up into the Medieval City and also a short walk over the old bridge to the modern town and it's amenities. A small grocery shop was nearby for the essentials. Communication with the owner was excellent right from when we booked. We knew exactly what to expect and Inga was even kind enough to offer us a lift to/from the airport. Couldn't ask for more and would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a base for a stay in Carcassonne.

Wake up to a view of the walls of old Carcassonne
All the reviews we read rhapsodize about the view from the apartment, but we were not prepared for the real thing. The castle is stunning enough when one explores it during a day visit, but the excitement of living right next to it is impossible to imagine. From the right angle, the castle ramparts fill the bedroom window. I took photos of it from the window and could only capture half the length of the walls. The castle is lit until late into the night; it is a dark looming mass at night; it changes with the sun, soft in the morning, more formidable in the day. Forgive the attempt at poetic language, that's what the location will do to one. A not very steep stroll on a sidewalk takes you to a city gate. Alternatively, there is a narrow path that starts in an alley a few houses down the street and winds upwards through a meadow on the hillside under the walls.
Our Cezanne apartment is on the middle floor between two others rented out by the same landlord. The house is on a picturesque street, the kind that demands to be photographed. It is closed by bollards on one side, which means no traffic, but it also means that you either carry your luggage a little ways from the dead end, which is what we did, or back the car in towards the house from the other end. There is no private parking; we found spots on nearby streets, or in a (free) parking lot about five minutes away.
The immediate neighborhood is a network of one-way streets, which makes driving inconvenient, but all essentials are within an easy walk: two small grocery stores (épicerie), one just around the corner; a patisserie/boulangerie; a Tabac; and restaurants. A standard supermarket is located in the "new" Carcassonne. To avoid parking hassles, I walked about 20 minutes, across a pretty old pedestrian bridge and some low-traffic shopping streets, to the main square. It is an interesting stroll, but one does have to carry the groceries back to home. There is a large hyper-marché farther away, but I dislike driving in an unfamiliar city.
In addition to having the stunning view, the apartment is comfortable and well equipped, with terrace even, and definitely spacious enough for three. Mick is a friendly, laid-back host; he was very helpful, at first by email and phone, then later dropped by to check that we were settled OK, to chat, and make sightseeing suggestions.
All in all, we had a wonderful stay in Carcassonne.

What a great place to stay!
We have recently returned from a four day break in Carcassonne staying at the perfectly located Cezanne apartment and had a fabulous time. The apartment was beautifully furnished, very clean and comfortable and very well equipped. Inge was so helpful, getting some groceries in for us upon arrival and even picking us up from the airport; it made the trip so much easier and enjoyable. The apartment is excellently located, just at the foot of the ramparts of the old Cite and a short walk into Carcassone town. I would certainly recommend this apartment (and the one upstairs which we saw) as being well-located, comfortable, and clean with very, very friendly and helpful owners and friends

Captivating Carcasonne
Spent 3 nights in Cezanne. A well-appointed appart at the foot of the Cite. The king size bed was very comfy and walk-in shower was lovely. The view of the Cite was soooo special.
Met on arrival by the friendly and helpful owners who shared their knowledge of shopping, eating and drinking places as well as must-sees for the first time visitor.
We loved Place Marcou. The quiet pedestrianised street and close proximity of free parking were an added bonus.
Thoroughly recommend, 5 stars!!

Fantastic location
Fantastic location with amazing views of Carcassonne Castle Ramparts from bedroom and lounge window. Spacious and comfortable apartment, well equipped. Plenty of restaurants nearby and about a mile walk over scenic bridge to new city with supermarkets, railway station, canal trip, more restaurants and plenty of shopping. Inga kindly gave us a lift to and from Carcassonne airport. We recall floor tiling was loose in a couple of areas so apartment may not be suitable for those with small children.

Nice apartment - nice landslords
The apartment was just as described. Very close to the Castle and lots of good restaurants only a few meters from the apartment. The owners picked us up at the airport - absolutely good customer service. We would like to recommend this property to all we know.
